Come out. Come out where ever you are CTG. Your fans are eagerly waiting. :D

Sorry......no pressure.

Wait a minute. Heck, yea. I'm puttin' the pressure on. I want the next chapter!!!!!!

Love ya, girl. (But I still want to see who plays the ghost.)

Here I am!!! LOL... Sorry for the delay. Santa Claus stopped by to ask me some questions. He is a riot... Jolly ol' guy that he is. :)

Okay... Here..we...GO!

Dimera Mansion – EJ’s Bedroom

EJ is sitting up in bed staring blankly at the cloaked figure before him, not recognizing the voice, but upon seeing the ghosts face, he is amazed this is who would be his Ghost of Christmas Past…

EJ: Why you? You don’t really know me…or that I even existed when you were alive.
Ghost: No…but it was decided by Another that I would be the best choice to come show you the past.
EJ: The past? Bloody hell. I remember the past all too well chum!
Ghost: Maybe. Maybe not. There are things that you probably chose NOT to think about…or remember.
EJ: Why should I even care?
Ghost: Didn’t Andre explain that to you? Or were you too busy counting your money and scheming to get even with someone? Oh… sorry. YOU have no one in your life to get even with anymore! Maybe that should be a HINT as to why you should care.
EJ: Rubbish. There are plenty of people…
Ghost: Who? Chris, your servant of whom you have no respect for? Chloe and Philip who see you as a slumlord? Get a grip, EJ. Even you aren’t that dense.
EJ: Whatever. I still don’t understand why you were chosen to visit me…
Ghost: Because, I am the perfect example as to someone involved in yet another Dimera baby switching scandal.
EJ: Excuse me? I did NO baby switching, young man.
Ghost: Oh, no! You did no switching. But your actions got you to where you are today. Now hush, so I can reveal to the readers who I am.
EJ: Sorry.
Ghost: I loved your sister because I thought she was my mother. But that was your father’s doing. Good ol Stefano. But, as true loving people my parents were able to make amends with your sister, Lexi. It worked out so much better for them. Lexi did not become bitter. She and Hope are still great friends. Many are hoping you can learn from what I show you...
EJ: Zack…if you’ve been paying close attention…I’m the Dimera who does not work that way.
Zack Brady: No... You are not like her. You are totally bent on revenge and to the devil what may hurt others. As long as YOU get what you want that’s all that matters, is it not? Hmph. How’s that working for ya, Mr. Dimera?
EJ: Why don’t you just leave me alone?
Zack: Everyone else did, didn't they? Huh. Oh believe me, I wish I could. But I promised my Boss I would do my best to help. Unlike you Elvis, I help people. Even miscreants like you…

To be continued later today…
Which will include Chloe, Philip, Rafe and Sami’s memories.
EJ is taken to the past by Zack and is still being stubborn.

I never thought of Zack either. Sniff Sniff. Great way to tell EJ about forgiveness. Good one Tex!

Love that your keeping all of us on our toes! Thanks for another awesome chapter CTG!!!

Can't wait until later today!!!!

Oh, wow, good thinking, girl. Must admit, never thought of him either.

As promised - here is the rest of today's chapter...Have a great evening!!!

Back at Philip and Chloe’s loft

All the adults are still hanging around, not really ready for the night to end. All the presents have been laid under the tree, as much as Chloe could possibly afford to buy. All Philip was told about the visit to EJ by Chloe is that she was able to pawn a diamond ring she never really cared for to get the money. Thankfully he was still in the dark. Chloe wasn’t quite sure he would understand if he knew exactly how she got the money. But, that could be discussed another day. With Christmas and Parker being ill, it was better to enjoy the happiness going on now.

Philip: Anybody up for more egg nog?
Chloe: Oh, no. Not me. I’ve had plenty.
Rafe: Ah, one more glass won’t hurt. Neither one of us are driving tonight.
Sami: I knew that rum would come in handy. I don’t know why Brady gave it to me, I don’t really like to drink that much these days.
Chloe: At least he’s back on the wagon now. When Vivian was put away from her last escapade, he realized the booze was bad news.
Rafe: I think Brady going to see Marlena and John worked wonders as well. Last we heard, he was going to try to get Basic Black back in Salem. Their overseas operation is doing much better. The economy has turned around some. Still, it has been tough to find permanent work.
Sami: Tell me about it. I felt guilty taking advantage of John and Marlena for so long… I kind of wished I’d told him no when John offered to send us some money. But he insisted. If it weren’t for Hannah…I would have for sure refused. Will is looking for a job here. After spending some time in Japan with his father, he’s ready to settle down for a while.
Philip: Rafe, have you discussed with Sami what we…
Rafe: Uh, no I haven’t. I don’t know if tonight is the right time to bring it up.
Philip: Why not? It is good news! Not something I’d ever thought I would do, but…
Sami: What are you two talking about?
Chloe: Please, no more secrets!
Rafe: I guess we better tell them. They’ll hound us all night for sure if we don’t.
Philip: You are right about that. Rafe and I have been talking about going into business together.
Chloe: Uh, what kind?
Rafe: We worked so well together when we were trying to find Hannah, we figured…
Sami: Oh, no. Not detectives! That is so overused on this show.
Rafe: No. No. Let us finish. We have been given a chance to open a business in Salem. One the town has really needed for a long time. A lot of people here have missed having a good place to go, listen to a live singer, fall in love all over again, and just be happy for once.
Philip: Seems like the people of Salem like to have a good club. I think before I was born it was the thing for the super couples to do.
Chloe: Wait. How do you think this is going to work? It takes money for a building, supplies… and the opera house wasn’t given a chance. Why would this work?
Philip: Well, that is part of the reason why we wanted to do this. People need such a place in times of stress. Unfortunately, in hard economic time, booze sells.
Sami: How in the world can we afford to do this?
Rafe: Lucky for us, we have two benefactors who have been just itching to get back involved in the community. Doug and Julie.
Chloe: Oh my gosh! For real? This could really happen! What about singers? Do you have anyone in mind?
Philip: Do we have anyone in mind? Please. Of course you are first on the list!
Chloe: That would be amazing! I really miss being able to perform. Its such a dream! (thinks for a moment, then gets a serious look on her face) No. Wait a minute. I can’t do this. What about Parker? I can’t be so involved in singing again with him needing me…

Meanwhile, back at Dimera mansion

EJ: You cannot help me. Because I..DON’T..NEED…ANY…HELP!! Period. End of discussion.
Zack: Suit yourself, Elvis. Whether what I show you helps you or not - and you DO need help - is not up to me. It is up to you.
EJ: Fine. Have it your way, Zack. Believe you me, there isn’t anything you can show me that is going to make a difference.
Zack: Trust me. I have heard others say the same thing. And everyone I’ve dealt with is never the same afterward.
EJ: (Snorts derisively) Whatever. I’m not like anyone else you’ve dealt with.
Zack: (looks upward at the ceiling) And thank the Man Upstairs for that.
EJ: Who, Chris? What does he have to do with this?
Zack: GOD. You ignorant donkey! Even you must believe in Him.
EJ: Why should I? As far as anyone else is concerned, He gave up on me a long, long time ago.
Zack: If that were true, I would not be before you this cold and dark evening…Are you ready for an unbelievable ride?
EJ: (shrugs) I suppose. Do I have to wear my seatbelt?
Zack: No. Just close your eyes…

To be continued…

Love to hear that Doug and Julie are going to help them out! Thanks for another great chapter CTG!!!

Oh, wow, this is truly intriguing.......Lead on, MacDuff!!

Wow. This is super. Never thought of Zack. Love that a new club is going to open in Salem. Looking foreward to the trip into the past. Thanks CentralTexGirl.

Sorry to be so late with today's chapter. I overslept this morning, and I have been thrown way off... Anywho - Enjoy, and have a great day!

Zack tells EJ to close his eyes, and surprisingly, he does so without argument. A quick WHOOSH and the blowing of terribly bitter cold wind, and POOF. They are in the land of Oz. Maybe there EJ can get a heart AND a brain from the Wizard. Oh wait. Sorry. My bad. They are NOT transported to Oz, but to the town of Salem circa 2006. The fateful and tumultuous year EJ Wells (AKA Elvis J. Dimera) descended upon Salem)

EJ: Ah. Clever lad. Taking me back to the year I arrived in Salem. I’d almost forgotten I was a racecar driver.
Zack: So did everyone else. I believe it’s contagious. No one thinks about Stephanie Johnson and Max Brady being racecar drivers either.
EJ: Pity. That was a rather fun time in my life.
Zack: Yes, indeed. Fun. Something you know nothing about now. Only causing misery.
EJ: Sorry…should you not be more angelic and forgiving? And tell me, do you get your wings after you’ve transformed me into some bloody do-gooder?
Zack: I never proclaimed to be an angel. Only that I am a spirit. But even angels can tell it like it is, EJ. And you are thinking of It’s A Wonderful Life. You are hardly the Jimmy Stewart type.
EJ: Touche’. So what joyous occasion am I going to get to witness that you presume I have forgotten all about?
Zack: The day you met the love AND hate of your life – Samantha Brady Hernandez…

To be continued…

More, please! :)
Thank you for such a funny and creative story!
I love it.

Here is a bonus chapter...My pennance for being so late with the earlier chapter... Have a great afternoon/evening everyone!

Samantha Brady and EJ Well’s hallway, 2006

2006 Sami is walking over to the apartment of 2006 EJ, as unseen EJ and Zack are watching from a close distance. EJ’s door opens to show him clad in only a towel.

EJ: I had such great abs back then. I need to start working out again. And that hair…
Zack: We aren’t here to discuss how much you love yourself.
EJ: Suit yourself. But I really DID look HOT.
Zack: I wouldn’t know. I like to look at girls.
EJ: You do that in heaven?
Zack: Sure. After all, in earthly years, I am fifteen years old.
EJ: Hmph. You weren’t SORA-ed?
Zack: Surprisingly, no. I find it quite hilarious you are supposed to be 3 years older than me.
EJ: Yes, quite confusing.
Zack: Let’s get back on track, shall we? Just keep your trap shut and watch? Okay? Okay.

EJ and Zack watch the 2006 meeting of EJ Wells, and Sami Brady. EJ is ambivalent about seeing the meeting, doesn’t see the point of being shown this. Zack then takes through other scenes. All his nefarious deeds performed as the black gloved hand, beating Patrick Lockhart, shooting John Black, and then raping Sami.

EJ: I did no such thing! She consented!
Zack: You threatened her! You gave her no other choice.
EJ: Ha. She could have let Lucas die.
Zack: (shakes his head sadly) I do have my work cut out for me, don’t I? Come on, EL-VIS. We need to visit some others. I just don’t know if I AM going to be able to get through to your thick skinned heart. Cold and black as the night it is.
EJ: What’s the matter, young master Brady? Too much of a challenge for you?
Zack: No. I’m doing what I was sent here to do. If you want to continue to be a miserable hateful snot, then so be it.
