Departing...arriving part 20

Cuz it's summer vacation, and the show wants to draw in viewers who may have dropped out, or their kids who remember parent talking of Jack & Jen, etc. etc. (Melissa Reeves (Jen) lives in Tennessee now, so, she is not interested in returning full time at all)

Eli & Lani are probably only coming for a short visit, too.

A slew of characters will be returning in December for all the hoopla then.
 
John Kapelos (Konstantin) has an impressive resume, but the nature of his character doomed him to be so detested that his exit would be widely celebrated. For a Salem villain to achieve a fan favorite status, he/she has to be young and attractive or a cultured, intelligent sophisticate like Victor and Stefano. All Konstantin had going for him was his unrelentingly nasty, devious personality.
 
Maybe Jack isn't coming because of the anniv. Perhaps for a different reason. There is something involving Chad and Julie.....so no idea.........unless maybe something with the house/mansion ??????

Writer transition? What writer transition? The strike? He who shall not be mentioned leaving? It has to be the strike right?
 
The fired guy was ousted, another writer (Jan Drucker) was promoted to headwriter, the writers' strike ensued.....probably bits here and there of changes to already written scripts. Maybe even another writer hired, I think his name is Dan .....something.
