Arianne Zucker (Nicole) update lawsuit

I am especially happy for the policies and courtesy expected from this website. I saw some other board postings about the political leanings of Ari Zucker (Nicole) and they are all up in arms and saying now that they hate her and will be glad when Nicole leaves, even though they have been crying about the injustice up until now. I just want to thank the board administration and the posters for making this a fair, respectful, and positive place for posting our thoughts and feelings about the stories and characters on a soap opera we all share.

That is just ridiculous. I don't know what Ari Zucker's (Nicole) political leanings are and just doesn't matter. Who cares? This is about a human being who has been abused and is trying to move forward, heal all while being a voice for those who have been and continue to be abused. It just baffles me how people in all walks of life can constantly bring politics into everything and be so vicious, over shadowing the true issue.

And I also echo Lisa's comments. This board has always been respectful and comfortable place to post without fear of being abused by other posters.

I'm so upset. Ari Zucker (Nicole) is one of my most favorite actresses. She is a wonderful person, and my heart hurts for her and all women who are afraid to say what happened to them for fear of what society will do to them. Ari is the victim here, and she was fired!!! I'm so angry it makes me sick. Not that she would want to come back, but the fact that Corday allowed her to be treated with such disgrace makes me think so much less of him (not that I thought he was even that great before). He is just as disgusting as the fired guy guilty of the actual abuse.

THIS is rape culture. THIS is what I've been complaining about. NO WONDER we have so many examples of rape turned to "super romance" by these shows. Days isn't alone. The more I read about how Corday Productions has responded and reacted to Ari Zucker's comments and lawsuit, the angrier I become.

Angry and disappointed. I keep hoping someone will stand up for Ari and I am so disappointed in Ken Corday and his production team for backing the predator and letting the victim be victimized even more. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! It's also disgusting that people are using her political views to justify this stuff.

I hate politics. I hate it. We as a country need to come together and do better. period. Because there are women like Ari Zucker all over the country. Most of them will never say who attacked them, because they fear a society that will punish them for saying anything. Rape culture still wins. Ari Zucker being fired is proof that rape culture wins. This is a huge loss for women everywhere.

All that said, I wish Ari Zucker peace. I wish for her all the best in her future both personally and professionally. Ari will always be a favorite of mine. God speed to you, sweet lady! I'm so sad this happened to you. It's not fair. and I pray you heal from all of it.

Am sure there is more to all this than we hear, however, Corday needs to be called on it all. He is going to have to answer in court, as to why he allowed the antics of his exec-producer to go on and on despite complaints. Why the person who finally had to go to the media to get something done was fired for doing so.

He certainly has proved unable to fill the shoes of his parents in overseeing/watching out for their legacy. And that is exactly what Days is. Plus, point fingers at NBC itself, as they have a lot to say in the production of Days.....and yet, seem to have looked the other way. Tis a mess, for sure.

I've been bullied at work and had my personal files accessed illegally by another employee at my work. They say report bullying harassment and ethical problems. I did and they told me if I have a problem working with this person I can go to another office and seek counseling it bothers me so much, but they will do nothing. She brings in too much money is the bottom line. She is a judge for the department of revenue and illegally went into my unemployment files during covid because she filled in at PA unemployment and falsified them.

She thought I stole one of her clients which I did not. When I contacted the PA authorities, they verified that she in fact did what I thought, and it is a federal violation. I had to go through a stressful hearing and won. They also told me they would handle it internally and I could not have proof to show my employer. I am always worried that she is going to do something to me again since she has all my pertinent information. I am told I have no recourse.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have to work and am 70 so it would be hard to find a job that pays anything.

I've been working for them for 25 years and besides all this, we all got our pay taken down. I am on commission only and they took my percentage down to what I was making 25 years ago. I was out about $4500 this year.

I was told by another employee that she did this years ago to another employee, but they will not give me a name.

soapkitty: I am so sorry for your situation. It is so unfair. An employment lawyer would be costly, and I am sure you already looked into going that route. Unfortunately, in work places, there are spiteful people who want to make others look bad so they will feel elevated, and often it is they said/you said without proof. Why that person's employment wasn't terminated already is a mystery, especially since there is history of bad behavior. Try to believe that good triumphs over evil and hope that the tables turn. Sending good thoughts your way.

Wonder what the status of Ari Zucker's (Nicole) suit against Corday...and Alarr is now? On hold? Under negotiations? She has left the show, no comments from Corday. Has everything just quietly "gone away"? Or are the courts there just so overwhelmed with cases they postpone right and left?

Would love to see Ari Zucker (Nicole) and her handsome husband, Shawn Christian (Daniel), do a show together, maybe a regional production of "Love Letters" or a Hallmark or Lifetime movie. Anything.

As that saying goes, "They done her her wrong."

If she lands a major role on another soap, that would be poetic justice.

The show will never be the same, my heart sinks thinking about it.

Interesting article. Thank you for posting it katmouse. I am curious to see what employees of Days signed this petition. How many actors signed the petition? Are the names on the petition public?

I’m still shocked Alarr’s behavior went on for so long and was tolerated by Corday and other high-up people on Days. I don’t think I knew that Corday was named as a defendant in her lawsuit. That will make it very unlikely she will return to Days. (Unless Corday quits/leaves/dies)

The last part I’m disappointed where Ari Zucker (Nicole) “softens” her position on the former president’s words with Billy Bush. Seems she is more ok with the “locker room talk”. Shaking my head. I will not say more.

I would love to see the judge order public apologies from Corday and the others in addition to lots of other penalties. Too bad they can't jail them all. Corday would not be able to run the show from prison and it would improve the show.
