Poirot, big intellectual property owners can be quite rigorous about stopping copyright infringement. Disney would defend its mouse and other characters to the last ditch. They were a moving force behind the act that extended copyright terms of protection. In fact, people in the copyright world sometimes refer to that law as the Mickey Mouse Protection Act.
I remember when the Mouse House was hell bent on going after daycare centers that decorated their walls with unauthorized pictures of Disney characters back in the 90's.

JJ Bagwood was a nanny Justin had hired to take care of baby Alexander. At some point she got pregnant to her boyfriend, but realized she couldn't provide for a baby so she asked Justin and Adrienne to adopt her child. They were overjoyed to discover JJ was pregnant with twins, and that's how they came to adopt Victor II and Joseph.

I remember when they found out JJ was carrying twins, Justin and Adrienne went on a shopping spree for the babies. It showed them going in and out of stores, buying tons of baby items, including a double stroller, while the song "Baby Love" played. Don't remember if it was the Diana Ross version or a cover. But it was a cute scene.

This is so true. I recall attending a copyright law event that featured a faux panel discussing the then new Copyright Term Extension Act. The guy playing the role of a Disney lawyer wore a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and introduced himself by saying: “I spend my days sending cease-and-desist letters to nursery schools.”
