Week of June 2: While watching Night of the Living Dead on a late-night cable station, Nick panics, drops his bag of Doritos and can of Dr. Pepper and cowers under the bed. The next morning, he flees Salem.

Hoping to spark interest in the Nick whodunit with the viewers and add to the list of possible suspects, the TPTB release spoilers about information found on Nick's computer detailing future blackmail plots. These include messages and photos and/or recordings to be sent to the following people:
Bo Brady -- threatening to reveal that he's not trying to "bring down" the DiMeras, but instead has ditched his family responsibilities and is lounging on the beach in Margaritaville;
Ciara -- saying there's proof that her famous backpack only contains schoolbooks, a few Tootsie Rolls, and some gum wrappers;
Daniel -- mentioning photos of him buying tanning lotion and Just for Men hair coloring at a Chicago pharmacy;
Roman -- saying that there are recordings of him saying that he really has the hots for Mrs. van Hopper and once had a thing for Vivian Alamain;
Jordan -- threatening to reveal that she and Ben don't really have any dark secrets and that she collects driver's licenses as a hobby;
Harold -- mentioning that Nick has photos of him smoking Stefano's expensive cigars and drinking his fine sherry when nobody's around;
Rory -- talking about proof that the pot he sells to Salem High students consists mostly of oregano;
Paige -- indicating that Nick has a recording in which she says she faked her Salem High transcript so she'd get into Stanford.

Ciara -- saying there's proof that her famous backpack only contains schoolbooks, a few Tootsie Rolls, and some gum wrappers;

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Boy, if Nicole got wind of Daniel's secret, she'd be able to keep him quiet about the shredded papers!

Stefano, impressed with Ciara's shrewd negotiation skills, disowns all of his children and makes Ciara his sole heir.

Bo Brady is so upset with this news, he nearly drops his tropical drink in the sand.

Ciara tells Johnny if he ever steals anything else from her, she'll have DiMera goons "take care of him".

All of Salem quakes at the news of Ciara's new power as Stefano's fair-haired girl.

During the trial, Nick's ghost appears in the dreams of Gabi, Will, Sonny, Kate, and Sami, saying: "Vengeance will be mine!"
To celebrate Gabi's acquittal, Rafe and Jordan have a bedroom romp at her place, while Arthur the Cat purrs his approval. [And the audience yawns with indifference.]

Thrilled by viewer interest in the Nick murder mystery, TPTB float a series of faux spoilers hoping to learn which murder and which suspects would spark the greatest interest among the viewers. Not included was Nicole because she's the writers' favorite target for character assassination.
1) EJ - chief suspects: Sami (after learning of the Abigail affair), Abigail (knowledge of her affair with EJ has labeled her the town tramp), and Susan Banks (angry because her son never calls his mother).
2) Jordan - chief suspects: Ben (who fears she'll reveal their secret), Kate (to "save" Rafe), and Arthur the Cat (angry about being neglected).
3) Kate - chief suspects: Lucas (finally fed up with his mother's manipulations), Jordan (afraid that Kate was about to learn her secret), and Kate's hair stylist (angry that Kate has eliminated her blue chunk).
4) Brady - chief suspects: John (who's decided that Brady is beyond redemption), Theresa (after Brady included her in his will), and a Titan major stockholder (who feared that Brady was ruining the company).
5) Ben - chief suspects: T (fed up with Ben stealing his face time at the club); Jordan (afraid he'll reveal their secret), and Kate (because he laughed at her suggestion that, like Rafe, he might enjoy a romp with an older lady).
6) Harold - chief suspects: Stefano (after learning he'd been stealing the silverware), Henderson (jealous because Harold was named "butler of the year"), and a burglar (who shot Harold on one of the rare occasions that he answered the door).

After learning that many Days viewers think that the JJ-Paige story line is a total bore, TPTB release spoilers that they hope will spark new interest in Salem's youngest lovers.

Cole and Bev resent the fact that Anne and Theresa are trespassing on their turf by plotting against JJ and Paige and start plotting against them too.
After learning that Paige and JJ are Salem's happiest new couple, Kristen adds them to her list of possible kidnapping victims.
