Downton Abbey Season 4

Great episode. I loved Cora coming to aide Anna and Bates.

I was wrong about who took the missing item, I'm glad the young
man got his job back and Violet apologized to him.
 
Did anyone catch all of Edith's doctor note? did it say
she was in the "family way"?

I stayed up last night and watched the show. Another great episode.

I wish Mrs Hughes hadn't talked to Mr Green, since he
sat at the table talking about the concert he heard that night.
Then he went downstairs. Baxter (Cora's maid) realized something
up. Bates looked at him at the end. Will Anna be able to keep
Bates temper in check?

Enjoyed Violet and Isobel.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens to Edith next.
I'm wondering if we might see her man later like around the
time Nazi's take over Germany. We still don't know what
paper she signed.

Is Mary lucky or not? She has two men interested in her.
I'm glad she helped out watering the pigs.

I changed name of maid. I need to remember new maid's
name is name of dog on my street :)
 
Anna’s rapist should consider himself a lucky man if he gets out of Downton alive, if Mr. Bates doesn’t kill him, then Mrs. Hughes might, LOL to many people are finding out what happened! The highlight of the show for me is Violet and Isobel every week. They have built a great friendship but either one wants to admit it!
 
Oh, Bates seems quite aware of what was going on. He gave Green the skeptical evil eye. LOL. I was glad Mrs. Hughes told that arrogant ignoramus that she knows exactly what happened. That jerk tried to pretend it was consensual. Bates is not stupid. He knows he was not sent on the trip so he could be with Anna, and now he can see she is a bit upset over Green's appearance.
The plot thickens. LOL
 
@rascals......Anna did not tell Mary, it was Mrs. Hughes. She was trying to keep Bates at Downton, and asked Mary to help. (Robert was taking Bates to the U.S. with him. ) Mary would not help unless she knew why it was impt. for him to stay, so Mrs. Huges said it was not her secret to tell, but did tell, but not the identity of the rapist.
