I assumed Blake Berris (Bobby/Everett) wasn't staying long term. I'm wondering if he ended up there longer than intended. I can't really figure out what the original plan was for the character. I thought it was just to stir up drama for Chad and Stephanie.
I thought Blake Berris (Everett/Bobby) was brought in for a short-ish story arc, then the strike happened, so the fill-in writers kept that flapjack on the griddle for way too long.
I remember reading that when the strike episodes started airing, too, JS. Blake Berris (Bobby/Everett) was supposed to play for just a short time (it seemed like they were going for the con-game angle) but then the strike happened and he couldn't leave.
Trouble is, when one show wants an actor back for a story, sometimes the actor is already committed elsewhere for that time period. The show thus has to recast, as they have time limits, etc.
I, also, am not sad to see Theresa leave. Not because of the actress. I didn’t like the character before she took the role. And still didn't like her with Emily O’Brien as Theresa.
However, I was hoping Emily O’Brien would switch back to playing Gwen. I liked Gwen a lot (and how Emily portrayed her). And since Abigail is evidently alive, I think having her half-sister in Salem would be a good idea.
Nahh, he will come on to save Sarah who will have amnesia from the accident and think she's married to Rex, and Victoria's is Rex's daughter, because that is original and screams something Ron would think is groundbreaking.
Oh joy, the return of dull Rexy. Gwennie T. could have started scheming about being a doctor’s wife in a major venue. Or if Rexy is into granny sex, Fiona might have dumped boozy Brady for the handsome, kind-of-boring Chitown physician.
It’s nice that Julie Dove had such a positive time playing Connie. Unfortunity, it wasn’t such a positive experience for the hapless viewers who will now return to a steady diet of angry Gabi, foolish Stefan, and B&S b/s.
