The only way this SL has any payoff is if Sami already knows and is setting EJ up for a fall. Sami doesn't show up at the wedding. She outs EJ's cheating. EJ then receives a video from Sami where his words of "pretending to love other people" come back to bite him. Sami tells EJ she never pretended to love anyone. She loved Rafe, Lucas, and Brandon, she trusted them, they made her happy, and she wishes she had realized what she had and hadn't screwed things up with them because they are far better men than EJ will ever be.

That's a fever dream SnowFox but I would love it.
The payoff of Sami's hypocrisy will be when Nicole is revealed to be evil still. Then Sami can prance out her "changed" smoochy-woochy and gather a team of Salemites to spit on Nicole.
