I am trying to figure out who the battered men in the flashback were.

I'm thinking, more and more, that this is going to turn out to be John's dad and that he and Tommy were in the same unit. Perhaps that is why he remembers the name Tommy. He and Tommy were probably the two men in the flashback. Perhaps he feels responsible for Tommy's death, or something like that. Not sure, but also remember seeing that this mystery man has some tie-in to Victor's last days. Perhaps that was what he was doing his last few days. Perhaps he had located John's dad and had him sent to the veteran's hospital ???

Special for whom? Certainly not the viewers. We weren't exactly on the edge of our seats two months ago, and after how dragged out it has been, we're napping on the couch by this point.

Amen. The so-called “special night” for the beyond boring Trippy and Wendy means nap time for the long suffering suffering viewers. I’d rather watch Pookie sniff Salem fire hydrants than those two.

I'm not sure which couple is more boring, Tripp & Wendy or Chad & Abby.

I really liked that Chelsea and Max named their son Isaac.

I'm just glad the writers remembered they said Chelsea was pregnant back in April.
