I was thinking the same thing!

Sami is about 40

She's definitely over 40. Remember when she and Eric celebrated their 40th birthday in the farmhouse together (the one he was renting)? She brought him a cake. It was right after Nicole left.

I have a feeling that while this isn't EJ, eventually Sami does somehow stumble upon the actual EJ. In that long spoiler clip, it showed Sami walking into a dim hospital room with a man hooked up to all kinds of monitors/life support, and he mutters "Samantha". Although how he can mutter her name with a breathing tube in his mouth remains a mystery. Fingers crossed it's only a dream.

If they do as good a job with an EJ replacement as they did Kristen, I'm all for it! The new Kristen is creepier than the original and has picked up just where the old one left. Doing a terrific job!

Unfortunately I don't see Kristen when I see the new Kristen and I don't hear Kristen when she speaks.

I'm with you SoapKitty. I think she's a great Susan, but i just don't buy her as Kristen, nor do I see any chemistry between Kristen and anyone else.

Saw that [Trey Baxter] graduated high school in 2011, so he'd be about 25.

Back in the day, Sami babysat for EJ at least once, so at least this one is only about 15 years younger than Sami.

I agree Poirot! When this story arc is finished, I'll happily welcome her back in the future as both characters!

Maybe im not imaginative enough, but I just can't accept her. Eileen Davidson has been etched in my brain and it will not accept a substitute for Kristen Dimera. I'd rather not see Kristen at all if it is not Eileen Davidson. Just me and my brain chatting!
