Back some years ago, and this is rather vague in my mind, it seems Marlena was pushed off a balcony, landing on top of Sami! Supposedly, that broke her fall. Tis all fuzzy, but Days does weird things quite often. Kristen falls out a window, down a mountain, but manages to still be alive, and fine. Not even a limp! Marlena falls out a window, 30 stories up....Same.
But a Wilma Flintstones vitamin isn't birth control..... even I know that.......

Betcha you're right, Poirot! I thought the same thing. It would be too easy a fix for Gabi to have the right phone in her hand. Lani should have done something right away. I'm sure even the Salem PD could have teamed up with Kayla and fixed this.

Or the part with Lani jumping on Gabi could be Lani's imagination as she's walking away from Eli at the altar.

I bet Lani walks away and then after the time jump Gabi and Eli are together as a couple

I was thinking the same thing; that Gabi will be there to give her "loving support" to Eli after Lani leaves him at the altar, just to further twist the knife.
