I wondered the same thing. She didn't even cry when Sami was being executed.

That picture of Shawn and Gina, with her sitting in the chair, makes me think of when Rolf did whatever he did to Hope, and how after she woke up she kept having a pain--in her side or her shoulder or maybe her neck?? Did he implant a chip or something with Gina's essence in her? I'm just wondering if there is something like that in her and also in Steve's body, which could be removed, to bring them back to themselves.
