A long and convoluted tale, of in vitro pregnancies, switched eggs and sperm, Belle, Shawn, Mimi, Philip....nefarious doings. But...supposedly, Mimi & Philip had this baby via a surrogate, but then decided they did not want it, gave it to the surrogate. She ended up unable to care for it, left it at the hospital, where Kayla & Steve found it, cared about it, nicknamed it Pocket, because being small enough to fit there. Anyway, eventually, they decided they wanted to adopt the baby, but, instead the baby was given to a couple we never met before or since. Since we do not know the name given to the infant, everyone still calls him Pocket. He is pretty grown up by now. Younger than Claire, though.
