I loved Kate with Stefano but not so much with others.

Actually, Kate never needed a man. Love her or hate her, she was much more interesting on her own. She's just been taking up space lately and although I'm happy for Roman having someone, he deserves better. And her involvement with Philip and Vivian's scam just seems contrived and pointless. I hope Stephanie figures out Phil was talking to Kate and tells her Uncle Roman all about it. At least that might give Kate and Roman a story worth briefly staying awake for.

I always loved Kate. As far as other halves, I liked her with Stefano and Victor.

Used to love Philip, but he needs to go down. I don't like this version of him.

Javi feels like Alex 2.0. A character we're supposed to care about because of his connection to an existing family, but so far, all he's done is hookup with everyone in sight. Despite all the flash and his splashy entrance, he's just boring.

Hey, we get Leo with Marlena tomorrow.

Because we all know that Johnny has a super support system, a dad who tried to pay off the girl, a mom who would just come screech and Chanel, that's it's all her fault. If only he had a grandmother to support him. Either grandmother, but for me personally, Marlena is easier to take than Susan.

I don't get why they keep shoving Leo into Marlena's orbit.

Same reason any character played by Rob Wilson (Ben or Alex) is. Deidre Hall (Marlena) likes the actor.

They should've just made Leo the son of Diana and John, and been done with it. At least he and Marlena would've had a plausible reason to always be interacting.

Ron likes writing for Leo, and Deidre Hall (Marlena) likes acting with Greg Rikaart (Leo). At least they're having fun. I don't hate it as much as others but I definitely agree that the show forgets Johnny's anything but a DiMera 90% of the time.

I'd also take a HUH??? story (like HUH? Marlena and Leo?) over a NO-WAY!?! story (e.g., Sarah lying to Xander, Stephanie being an idiot, Paulina being quiet, etc).
