SPOILER !! Week Dec 30

Alex and Joy works because she looks at lot like Ciara so there is natural chemistry. But unlike Ben and Ciara there is none of the problematic vibe to them. I like Stephanie with Philip too. They are both kind of odd actors and work together.

I'm also into EJ and Belle. And I wonder if we will get Shawn and Jada if Arnold messes up her dull thing with Rafe.

I'm mostly positive about the show. In an ideal world Leo and Paulina run away together and never return. And Hattie and Bonnie are never on screen again. One needs to stick to being Marlena and the other needs to be retconned as Adrienne.

Wonder how the truth about Joy and Johnny's one night stand will come out? Seems like it will come out at the New Year's party.

The fake Rafe stuff looks like a set-up to the who shoots EJ story. Hopefully it doesn't last that long.

And Salem is just packed to the gills with doppelgangers, isn't it? So convenient. Time for Salem to forget about using lookalikes to try and bolster their storylines.

While I understand it is a way to ensure contract actors something to do since they get a paycheck anyway.....it is being overused. But I guess trying to stay within their tiny budget is very difficult.

And yes, it's hard to think up new storylines, as you never know when an actor will decide to leave, or if a newer one will work out. Just like when they try to pair couples. Some are magic, others duds. So.......just hope for the best, and that Days stops filming so far in advance, and makes a real effort to end what doesn't go over.

I do get sidetracked, don't I ?

I'd really love it if Sophia's pregnancy is a false alarm !

I am glad the truth is coming out about the baby and Johnny/Joy.

Chanel is taking no prisoners.

Why can't Sophia have the baby and give it up for adoption? Is it fair to the innocent baby to be forced to be raised by two people who are not together?

Holly just turned 18, did Tate? Legally, at his age, what is expected of him? He can't provide for the baby. College will have to be delayed. The mother is a force of nature, and while I understand taking responsibility for actions, it is not in the best interest of the baby.

I Googled and found this:

If an 18-year-old gets a girl pregnant, they have legal responsibilities. These responsibilities vary by state but generally include the right to stay in school and the inability to be forced to transfer to an alternative school or program.

Of course, this is Salem, so it goes out the window.

Belle is an idiot for even thinking of being with EJ again.
