I hate the co-joined names. Shim is that Kim and Shane? And Khane is Kayla and Shane? Or co-joined names were so new the fans couldn't make up their minds which was better?

I've said this before, but years back, a woman wrote into Soap Opera Digest to complain about combo names. At the time Stephen Nichols (Patch) was playing a character on Y&R named Tucker. The woman said she hoped that Phyllis and Tucker never became a couple.
There's also a couple on Y&R that fans refer to as Likey. Took me a while to figure it out it was for Lauren and Michael, who is sometimes called Mikey by his brother Kevin (played by Greg Rikaart, who is Leo on Days).

So was Chief Richard Cates (the blond guy in the lower left-hand picture). He killed Theo Carver, Abe's brother. That's who Abe and Lexie named their son after.

She originally started out playing Jade Perkins on Santa Barbara from 1984-1985, then moved on to Days as Jennifer.
