Sami's dress

What a difference watching a video in full screen HD can make. I saw the preview on my tablet. The camera angle on the back of that dress made it look terrible. But on my tv I thought that dress was stunning and Allison Sweeney can rock a dress like that. I do like that she chose a silver dress. So in a nutshell it was a beautiful dress on a beautiful woman.

The dress was absolutely gorgeous from the front, and Sami looked stunning in it.
From the back, in my opinion, looked terrible. I just did not like the way it looked on her from the back.

Maybe because I have a puny, little, 15 inch, old style TV, hooked to rabbit ears, but I thought it looked like something the Kardashians would wear out clubbing. Alison Sweeney (Sami) is a beautiful girl with a great figure, but I didn't think it did her any favors; the hairdo, either.

What cracked me up about the hairdo was that there wasn't any blonde streaks in the extended portion. I also thought her makeup was very tastefully done.

I agree SarahBeth, the dress looked fabulous. A little tight around the rump area for a wedding dress in my opinion, but hey, she's got the figure to back it up, so I say, "Go on, girl!"

I also liked her wedding hair, but I was terrified at the hair at the beginning of the show.

I love the dress, love the hair. She pulled it off. And I'm in agreement with krw627 - I'm so glad that dress wasn't white. Thank goodness it wasn't black or red either. Very tasteful.

I did like the Herve Leger dress but agree it did seem a little tight in places. I wasn't a big fan of the hair or makeup. The actress looks much better as a blonde.

She commented in SOD that she worked with the costume department and it took months to find this dress. I'm not so sure I believe that. Herve Leger dresses are pretty easy to come by--lots of actresses wear them to events and such.

The color was fine, but I really didn't think the dress was all that great. It left too little to the imagination. Even tho this is "8-9th wedding" I still think a wedding dress should be a little more reserved. Yeah, I guess I'm old-fashioned.

The back of the dress closely resembled the cut of Pippa Middleton's bridesmaid dress to me & I liked it.

The fall they put on her hair looked good but needed some blonde I thought too & less of a noticeable stop of her hair & beginning of the fall. It could've been blended better. I did like the sparkly pieces in her hair.

Yes, full screen HD makes an enormous difference!

The dress was gorgeous, however I also did not care for how it was fitted from the back.
Didn't care for the hair extension and thought there was just a tad too much bling.
The dress didn't need the hair jewelry or earrings.

Sirramix: I like the Pippa Middleton analogy as it does seem to be a similar cut of dress. Both women are small yet have curves.

While I agree with the Pippa Middleton analogy, the lines of her dress were flawless from the back and not too clingy. Samantha's was too clingy in my opinion, tight all the way down.

Agreed Mel. I just meant the cut of the dress was similar. I already commented earlier that I felt Sami's dress was a bit tight in several places.

I found several images (Google images) of Pippa Middleton at the royal wedding. To me, the comparison is class (Pippa) vs. class minus the cl. One looks regal and classy, the other looks cheap and tasteless and would be better worn by a stripper at a bachelor party.

I guess I'm an old fogey, but I thought the whole look was awful. I hated the hair and the dress looked she didn't have a stitch on under it. The make-up was nice.
