Jude DiMera Brady - I'm only here because my parents ate tainted biscuits and hooked up.

Holly Jonas - I'm only here because my surrogate mom secretly went through IVF after my bio daddy was killed by my stepdad.

Tate - I'm only here because I was stolen from my mom's womb and birthed by my sort of girlfriend's one-time step-aunt.

Rachel - I'm only here because my daddy hooked up with my mommy because he thought she was some other woman.

Belle - I'm only here because my mom cheated on her husband with my dad... and ruined my half-sister's life forever. :rolleyes: Just ask her, she'll tell you.

Cassie and Rex - we're only here because some twisted Frankenstein took eggs and sperm from our parents and implanted us into the comatose woman who birthed us.

Philip - I'm here because some crazy woman stole me from a petri dish and had me implanted into herself in hopes of snagging my dad.

Ghost Zack - I was only there because my brainwashed mom had sex with my brainwashed mime dad and neither one remembered.

Ghost Daniel - I was there because my mom had some eggs frozen and my godfather had them stolen and given to my parents to use, from a procedure that didn't exist when I was born.

Sarah - I'm only here because my mom wanted to know what it was like to be pregnant and agreed to be a surrogate mother, somehow forgetting she had a baby when she was 16.

Arianna - I'm here because my gay dad thought he liked girls for a hot minute.

Joy - I'm only here because my parents needed a bone marrow donor for my sick sister.

Paul - I'm here from very short romance between my parents that literally could've never happened, but you just have to go with it.

EJ - OK, I'll play along. I'm here because my adopted sister wanted to desperately hold on to her man, so my bio fatha found a disguised lookalike to carry me, then my sister pretended I was her baby, even though she now pretends to be way too young to be my motha.

Johnny - Apparently I'm in for a big shock as to how I'm here.

Mike Horton - Johnny, give me a call after you find out your shocking news. I can relate. We might want to loop in little Henry Lucas for this discussion.
 
Tripp - I'm only here because a criminal mastermind wiped my dad's memory and he fell in love with my drugged-up mobster mother.

Chad, Ghost André, Ghost Renée (in unison) - I'm only here because our "classy" father really liked women who walked the street for cash.

Ghost David Banning - I'm only here because my mom was sleeping with her best friend's husband, whom she killed.

Ghost David Grant/Price - I only existed because my mom thought her suicidal boyfriend was cheating on her and hopped into bed with the first available man.

LindaJ, sorry about that — my memory failed. When it comes to EJ and Sami, my mind is stuck on the hate boink. Of course, given that EJ was involved makes it no big surprise that Sami was forced. Elvis was a slimy lowlife back then and is equally odious now. In addition to knocking away his cupcake, noisy Paulina should have poured a cafe latte down the back of his neck.
 
different writers, different versions, different excuses. Hate when newer writers change history.

Just wish Days would go back to appearing same time every day On NBC. HATE THE STREAMING.

O.K. We have some departed characters returning, .....and seems they feel things are better on set these days, so are willing. I know the show is going to honor Doug, am so glad for that, and happy actors who left are returning to do so. I know several have moved away from L.A. , so am grateful they are returning for this.

It's hard when you watch a show a long time, and lose the actors who drew you to it, and were there for so long.

Me, ....it was Patch...don't ask me why, don't know. Intriguing that he fell for goody two shoes Hope, and she returned the feeling.

I really liked Adrienne and it was great when she got paired with Justin.......but horrible when they killed her off. The show realized the mistake, so along came Bonnie. Only a completely opposite personality. Amazing Justin still fell for her.........but it all only made him seem that looks was all he cared about. I do miss Jack & Jen, and don't think recasts would fix it.

LOL, if I could write songs, I probably would do some melancholy lyrics about missing characters. You know, I'd love to see a rebirth of Days........you know.........Days of Our Lives.....The Past. It would start with Day 1...........Boy, I'd watch every day...........

"You'd have to know my mom" implies that they were told Sami loved them both, and it was no big deal. No daughter would say that knowing her mother was raped. (Then again Sami guilted her into keeping a rape pregnancy.)
