Salem Legal Follies

Vivian’s plan to steal Titan from Xander is nonsense. The only way to overturn Victor’s will is to show that he was mentally unfit when he wrote the document or that the will itself is invalid. Viv’s forged letter won’t do the trick. It’s unwitnessed and unnotarized, which casts severe doubt on its validity. If Victor had really wanted to quickly change the provision bequeathing Titan to Xander, he could easily prepared a codicil to his will and had it witnessed and notarized. And since when is Vivian a good forger? Any handwriting expert who knows his/her stuff would spot it for the crude forgery that it is. In the end, unless there’s some absurd, only in Salem twist, it should be party time for Xander and possible prison time for the sneaky Shaggy.

Sadly, Dr. B., The suits behind the scenes at Days seem to feel they can do anything illogical, no matter how stupid and ridiculous, and the viewers will buy it, stay quiet, say nothing. Corday did not inherit his parents' gift for writing, and doesn't care to learn, or even learn how to choose those who do. And NBC obviously is of no help. When viewers can come up with better storyline ideas, that says something. However, WE really don't know what goes on behind the scenes.........sometimes it feels like a great deal of turmoil, maybe swelled heads..........who knows.
