Prayers for Florida Hurricane Milton

Just as an FYI, Lisa and I happen to be dead in the center of the path at the moment (Palmetto, FL) unless it turns, which it hasn't for the last 36 hours. Shutters are up. We have sandbags to put out, and that's about all we can do except wait at the moment.

No, dishwashers aren't made to stand up to the high pressure of a flood. That's been going around the internet for decades. A dishwasher will flood and your belongings will be ruined. And depending on the wind, it could just be ripped open and your documents sent flying/floating around.

Still sending prayers for everyone to be safe.
Have a friend there, she noted she was right in the middle of where this was all going to hit.......but now have not heard, don't know if she left, or decided to stick it out. Gas stations are being depleted of gas, or have run out of fuel, stores out of supplies. Praying for all to be safe.
