While flipping through the channels late last night, I came across a 1957 episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. It involved a plumber who was trying to blackmail a housewife, noting that the length of his stay and his knowledge of the upstairs might cause her to be involved in a scandal. In the end she was able to get evidence for the police by gathering all his other local victims together in her living room. Confronted by all the aggrieved women, he caved. Because he'd already spent his blackmail money, they got revenge by demanding that he now do free plumbing work for them. In the post-show credits, one of the women in the living room was listed as Peggy McCay.
