LOL if it were possible for dogs to talk, they would for sure TATTLE tale on us all. Cookie is the consumate chatter box, even though we don't always know what she means, she is sure of what she is saying, and like my daughter's dog Blade she will say it over and over until she thinks we understand. I truly believe in a higher power, and thank my higher power every day for steering me and my sweet Stan to the ASPCA where we found this little terrier who was just terrified. She had been beaten and abused, and was thrown in a dumpster to die before she was shipped from the New Orleans area to Florida in the hopes that some older people would love her. Wow that was almost 15 years ago. I know that my sweet Cookie has never had fear in her life since that day. We never have know her age, but the estimate by her vet is in the area of 18 to 20 years. Imagine that! Every day since Stan has passed Cookie has let me know how much of a "mom" I am to her. TY Poirot for this post today, you gave me a huge reason to talk about Cookie today.
