It would be nice if all computers talked to each other like we think they should.
Some people use phones and not computers. There are several different browsers people use.
Some people use Apple computers and others use Microsoft software.
I have Windows 10 on my PC and Windows 11 on my laptop.
I mostly use my iPhone to check here, but if on laptop I have a MacBook. Probably because I use Instagram regularly I’ve never had an issue. Depending on the privacy settings of the account you’re trying to share, sometimes you have to click on the image for it to load on Instagram. Some people (like me since I’m a teacher and don’t want my students seeing everything I post) have it set that only people who follow them can see their posts.
I would imagine most of the things folk try to share on here would be from public accounts, so anyone should be able to see them regardless of whether they have an IG account. Twitter seems to work the same way. But if you have those apps on your phone they more often than not by default the app opens when you click on a link.
Edge, Chrome and Firefox opened the white box, and never showed the content. But once clicked on the link all took me to Instagram. I am only logged into Instagram on Firefox.
