O.K. Many of you visit Instagram........which evidently doesn't want the info on their site posted elsewhere, even if credited. Thus we have a lot of BLANK posts on this site. Frustrating and annoying to open a post to see a huge blank space. So how about just copying the link address, with a few words to indicate the content. You know....like.. surprise for Holly, Stefan is at a loss.......etc.

These big empty posts take too much room, are aggravating. Please help...!!

I see a picture that says hit link to go to Instagram to see post.

Does anyone know if you need an Instagram account to see items? I have one.

I'm trying to make a copy of post from Instagram, but when it's a video I can't do that.
Next time, I'll try to post link under "insert link" and see if that works.

That's odd Poirot. I use Firefox and can't see any of the tweets or X things but generally can see Instagrams. If I can't I just click on it and it takes me to Instagram to view the picture/story/movie. Do you use Chrome? Edge? Firefox?

I searched YouTube to post the special interviews since some people can't see Twitter.

I see them and I don't have Instagram. I just have to click where it says view on Instagram.

I wonder if something has to be adjusted on browser to see it.

like I said......Instagram doesn't want anyone to see anything from their site, unless you see it only on their site. Thus they do not give access to copy, then paste elsewhere. You have to go there. which is fine...........and why I think just posting their addy is the best way.................

I can see Instagram posts on our board. Sometimes it takes a minute for it to load properly. Instagram posts are also viewable on other sites throughout the internet when people embed them, they're not blocked by Instagram.

Well, I hit it, but it wants me to log in, but won't log me in.......finally offered to log in with Facebook, but when I tried, wanted me to create account.......Am thinking someone out there doesn't like me........lol

Poirot, I just closed that little pop up that wanted me to log in or create an account. Then the instagram post opened.

Or, do you see "not now" under the "open Instagram"? I click not now and that works for me.

Ha........so some scenes from Sound of Music appear, but no audio.

Really don't understand why it is so hard to just post here on the Spectator, without making folks jump thru hoops to see something. I'd contact Wayne........but being he got hit with the bad weather in Florida.......don't want to bother him. Not his fault . Maybe we should just close the Spectator down.

The video has a mute button you have to click to hear sound and have your volume on.
