I had completely forgotten who Kerry was.

I was like, "WHO!?!?"

And then I remembered there was that guy who came on strong with Leo like a decade ago (or so it seems). Looked him up & didn't recognize him (didn't watch the episode) but JS thanks for confirming.

He aired on 7/11. According to my 5-minutes of searching, Abe only got the idea that week to reboot the show. Did Kerry put something on Leo's device, knowing he'd be hired as head writer?

If so, he's a genius and should be our new supervillain. If not, re-Ron has failed.

I really enjoy James Read (Clyde). Clyde, on the other hand, had been written into a corner of being able to do anything while in prison defying belief.

I hope Clyde remains in the ground in Canada, providing they can still dig the ground, it hasn't frozen yet, for many years.

James Read (Clyde) has said he was thrilled when offered the role of Clyde, a rather nasty villain, ...said he doesn't get offered those kind usually. Says directors and producers seem to think of him only as the kind of guy he played in North and South. Must admit, he did good at being nasty on Days.

@Poirot You brought up a memory for me as a kid in the 80s seeing previews on tv for this epic mini series North and South. If I'm remembering correctly, wasn't there a North and South part 2? This was also the same time period I remember my two older sisters watching Lace and Lace 2 mini series.

Yes, there were two North and South mini series; each one had six episodes. One was North & South: Book 1, North & South (1985). The second one was North & South: Book 2, Love & War (1986).

James Read (Clyde) played George Hazard, which was the name Clyde was using in Canada. He was also in Lace II (1985) as Daryl Webster (the original Lace was in 1984; he's not in that one)
