Unfounded rumors....and speculation. He currently, right now, is still filming. There is a possibility that he may now be recurring, instead of on contract, just like Victor, Justin, Adrienne, Doug, Julie, and several others.

As I have said before, unless it appears in SOD, or Jason47 reports it.........tain't true!. As a matter of fact, on Aug. 10th, at the Days appearance, he said he & Jen had just finished filming some huge scenes. (And that means they would be appearing in March!!! )
 
O.K. Jason47 posted on Facebook, and it seems Eve is gone, everyone else is still there, and that Chad & Steve are both on contract, while Abby is recurring!! Yes, Chloe is gone, as is Tripp. But oddly, Kristen is still there........???? Yes, Xander, too, and of course Jack! Even Tony is in the pic..........(recurring) but not Anna!!!
 
I read that the person who started the rumors of Matt Ashford (Jack) leaving just did that to stir the pot and they are NOT true! (This according to Daytime royalty, where the initial posts of him leaving were.)

The person saying Matt Ashford (Jack) would be gone was on Twitter first, and admitted there to have lied. Am glad people picked it up from there.....however, Jason47 is the person I trust. He is someone who verifies over and over before posting anything.

I do agree about wanting Kristen gone. But Eve was awful, too. However, both actresses are very good, so it is story that makes a person want them gone. Trouble is, when you get a new writer, they cannot bring a ton of new characters on, so they re-create ones already established.
I don't know what to say about Sarah, as folks have said she was so good her last role, I would not know. Just have not liked Sarah from Day 1, when Maggie opened the front door to find her there.

By the way, Stefan is also gone!!! (I really hope they reconsider that and get him back)

Well, if you throw Sarah in the mix, I would love for Kristen, Eve, AND Sarah to be gone. Once you add back Kate Mansi's Abby, there is not enough space for all of the entitlement. Well, the only thing to make THAT worse would be to bring back Sami, so glad that is not on the table.

Also, no Adrienne in the photo. I wonder when Stefan leaves and how that will play out for Gabi? And why IS Kristen still there? I get that she plays the Nicole/Holly card in exchange for not being arrested, but still. . .

I agree @Poirot. The last time she was Susan in the square, I thought she was terrible. But, today she did a much better job. I thought it was funny when Susan and Nicole were standing next to each other and there was the difference in height and body type right in front of us and no one made the connection. That is one powerful mask. If the character who is remaining does happen to be Susan, I hope she is just an occasional visitor. She is fun for short periods, but would not like to see her every day, although would trade her for Kristen in a heartbeat!
