"Dear Ruffles McRed"....an advice column #4

Dear Ruffles McRed,

So I just came to Salem to connect with family I've never met. I might have, sort of, kind of, borrowed, or stole, if you will, an expensive piece of jewelry, with plans on selling it. Right now, the family blames another relative who used to be a thief and con artist. Is it wrong of me to let them keep thinking this? They don't seem overly bright and I could really use the money.

Signed, Wougie Dilliams III

Dear Mr. Dilliams,

Oh my, that is a terrible plan, and you don't even seem sorry about your theft, or allowing another family member to take the blame. How do you expect your family to embrace you when you're a thief and a liar? You should be more like our dear Doug Williams who started out as a con artist but changed his ways to become an upstanding citizen and someone we all loved dearly. Or my cuddle bear, Victor. Instead, you're acting more like one of those despicable DiMeras. Tell the family what you did, clear your family member's name and take your lumps.

Sternly,

Ruffles McRed
