Days of Our Lives - Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024

Eric creeped me out today also. He was one step above a porn attitude. The past few years have certainly removed any grace from the soul of Eric the priest. Today was mmm baloney?
If Xander had seen Eric in action today, he’d be pleased to know how accurate his name, the “Fallen Father Eric” actually is. If Sami knew about it, she’d be going off endlessly about that sinful perv, the Bad Twin.

It’s a good thing that Rafe is safely tucked away in his hospital bed. The sight of any of today’s rubbish would have put him back into his coma. As for Gabi and other victims of Connie, they’d be angry that all those involved with the B&S b/s seem to be oblivious to the deadly crime wave that just ended in Salem

The fake soap stuff is too absurd. I don't know why I'm okay with them being ridiculous lawyers, doctors, cops, government officials, business owners, board members, etc. but ridiculous soap producers/actors is actually offensive. I guess I expect the people who know how soaps are made to take that more seriously. This storyline is below gutter trash. It's just so, so bad.

I watch quite a few programs on Peacock. Murder She Wrote reruns, Monk, Psych. I just binged Homicide: Life on the Street because it's new on Peacock and I loved it when it was on in the '90s. There's enough content I enjoy to keep it.

I checked to see if Days was back on my cable but no luck. I did look at what's on there and man oh man it's really just one big tribute to NBC not caring about spending anything on daytime. All morning it's a version of Today. Local news is and entire hour now. Dateline is on where Days was. Only two syndicated shows which are Drew Barrymore and Kelly Clarkson and those might have been a local decision. Oh and another news show in the afternoon. The news shows are pretty cheap because they don't really do reporting but just politics.

That's really odd. Wonder how your local station got the approval to air Days?

I just went online and didn't find anywhere else that Days is airing on regular TV.
I think it might just be an Xfinity program description mistake. The DVR is recording "Days" because Xfinity is listing the news as Days of Our Lives.

I just played the "Days of Our Lives" recordings from yesterday and today that I had on my DVR to see if it was actually Days. Both of those are actually news programs. Although, it also seemed to be breaking news about Lebanon that would have interrupted Days if it was airing on TV. I already deleted all five "Days" episodes that were on my DVR last week so I can't check those. I'll check tomorrow, but it's probably a mistake.

Sounds like it's just an error on the program guide then, as I couldn't find anything online to say Days is airing on regular TV anywhere in the US.
