Days of our Lives - Tuesday, November 26, 2024

There could've been any number reasons Bonnie never made a full turkey dinner. Maybe they went somewhere to eat (like a community dinner for families in need, to a relative's, etc.) or maybe they just had a basic dinner on the holidays and not a big turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Speaking of Mimi and Patrick, there's also a younger son named Conner, who was last seen in 2007.

Xander is the heir, end of story.
Did they address why Philip didn't fight Alex?
On what planet are they remembering him fondly??
On the planet where Ron's given up caring.
prodigal son
who faked his own death and kidnapped an infant - it's not murder/attempted murder like the X-man but it's only supported by a flimsy forgery that will be quickly discovered by anyone with half a brain.

He's sane now.
If his argument is that he's sane, and his proof is his scheme with Vivian, I hope he's his own lawyer for his sham trial against Xander. It will be comedy gold.
Alex says Philip had his shot with a lifetime as the star son and a chance at running the family business.
Wow, this might be the first thing I've ever heard Alex say that makes me support him.
Alex surprised me. He is really the voice of sanity today.
Ron's only mission is to get us to like his pet Alex before he leaves, methinks.
in which she had her geeky computer friend Ian change Parker's paternity test
She didn't have him do this. He did this for her while checking, without her permission, per the "Super Daniel is Awesome" story rewrite. She had no part other than as an interested observer. (She may have wanted him to do this.)

LOL, well I cannot seem to remember someone named Owen Kent, which is why I thought it was a really long time ago.
Poirot, Owen Kent was the gardener at the K-Mansion who turned into schemer who was informing for the DiMeras. He kidnapped Stephanie and held her captive in a morgue drawer in his father’s mortuary. After Stephanie was rescued, Owen was arrested, but naturally escaped and hasn’t been seen since.

Thanks brisbydog.

It's a new day in Salem, Thanksgiving.

Nice to see the Johnson family talking to Joey and Tripp. Will we ever see them in Salem again?

How is Stephanie supposed to give good PR to Philip when he faked his death?

It's good Sarah is out of the hospital. Whose turn is next for the bed?

Why did Philip have to ruin the family gathering by making the remark about kicking Xander out of his job?

Line of the day goes to Steve when he said to Justin "Salem attracts a lot of crazies".

The way would-be fraudster Philip was acting today, he should have been put in the corner at the children’s table. Shaggy simply has no tact and no class. Speaking of Shaggy, his claims to be over Chloe are probably pure b/s. If the diva returned tomorrow, Shaggy would most likely be chasing after her like a puppy dog.

It was good to see Sarah walking again. Perhaps Dr. Rolf could have been invited to Thanksgiving dinner to show everyone’s gratitude.

Fie on those who dumped on the idea of pizza for the Kiriakis Thanksgiving dinner. If passing Italian sailors had established a pizzeria at Plymouth, who could doubt that the Pilgrims would have ordered several pies to serve themselves and the Indians at their harvest feast. (Venison pizza would have been a big hit.)

Thanks for the summary. This was a decent show today. Some funny and heartwarming scenes and good interactions. It does sound like some of the writing got a bit sloppy with past details, but then again, the writing is generally sloppy these days. Huge bombshell cliffhanger at the end—well done. I’m definitely Team Xander.

That's right. I remember them sitting on the couch together and her freaking out when the test showed Philip as the father, so Ian changed it to curry favor with her.

Thank you Dr. B..........

Do you think, since he was mentioned, Salem might be getting a visit from Owen? Would not put it past the writers.........but it does seem that since Days is celebrating 60 years, they seem to bringing past characters back to visit for a bit?

Not sure if Carlivati is still in the writers' circle, or if it is just Drucker? And really wondering if Corday is looking around so to add another writer or two.

Whatever the case, Corday better start paying more attention, or at least find an assistant that knows how daytime soaps work, and preferably back history in Salem.

Did they address why Philip didn't fight Alex?
Not that I've heard. Most likely Vivie was busy and happy and not interested in attacking that shirtless wonder child as he had an adoring family she knew would support him, unlike Xander who she believes no one will support.
Wow, this might be the first thing I've ever heard Alex say that makes me support him.
Shocked me. But on every attempt to run Titan, Philip tried to give it to the mob.
How is Stephanie supposed to give good PR to Philip when he faked his death?
And framed his nephew for the death. I'm sure there is a spin to use for this.

I think the whole shirtless thing is a trend, because today I saw a topless pigeon. I thought to myself, "Nice PECKS." :rotfl:
I've been visiting the zoo recently because I purchased a membership, and there are a lot of completely nude animals.

(This is mostly a joke, but there are some things there that a show like Days wouldn't show even though they're animals.)

Steve asks Justin if he thought he'd spend Thanksgiving elbow deep in canned peas and frozen turkey? Justin is happy to help. He has been thinking about Adrienne a lot. If she was around then, she and Jo and Duke would be around. I had to rewind here. Duke?? He raped Adrienne and she shot him and Steve went to jail for it. On what planet are they remembering him fondly??
I just watched the scene where Justin mentioned Duke. I don't think it was a flub. I think he was referring to way back in the day, when Adrienne was young. He said "She, Jo, and Duke, if he was around, they would be one of the families who would be eating one of these meals." Steve said "Yeah, they probably would have been." The Johnsons were a poor family, weren't they? So they would have been a family that needed a Thanksgiving meal that was given away to people in need.
