A+ for Alex telling Johnny off.

Chanel and Johnny's conversation just made me not care about them at all frankly. I don't feel any connection with them. He's an idiot and she's annoying. Forcing friendship on Joy? It's just weird to me that they can write the scene with Alex talking about how he ends up looking bad which was excellent and then we get weird blah from Chanel and Johnny.

I like this Philip. The face he made with Belle about Sami was great. I wish they didn't have to make him a baddie. He has great comic timing and I'd love him working well with Xander to take on Kristen or something.

Alex is quickly winning me over in this storyline. I never had much use for him before but watching his disdain for Johnny is giving me life. I really like him and Joy together. I hope that is the direction this is going. And I hope Johnny and Chanel do work it out eventually, but he needs to grovel big time once the truth comes out.
I probably like Alex more than the average Days viewer, but I wish he would just tell the truth instead of going along with Johnny's lie.

Forcing friendship on Joy?
Hear, hear! It's creepy in real life and on the show it's a stupid plot point. Enough already!!
He has great comic timing and I'd love him working well with Xander to take on Kristen or something.
He'd also be great as the fallen son working at the paper (or ...shudder... the soap) with Leo, cracking wise and longing for romance, struggling to be taken seriously and kinda always proving he shouldn't be - but corporate raider? I love the actor, but it's not his wheelhouse.
