Days of Our Lives-Tues.May 26,2009

I remember not so long ago..Stefano didn't have his ring in Aremid storyline..and he lost his memory because he's was thrown out a penthouse window by demon marlena
stefano didn't want to remember..because he thought being the good stefano he might win marlena's heart..anyway because of the woman in white celeste needed stefano to remember..after
getting struck by lightening he was beginning to remember but he fought hard not to..till Celeste took out of the draw his ring..gave it to him he put it on ..welll and he remembered everything
the ring has some mental powers for stefano...when EJ had it it made him think as stefano..if only a minute lol when stefano didn't have it he was very weak and dying...distory the ring distory stefano......perhaps...but I am glad he got the ring back...the nicole and stefano scenes next week will be great

Thanks for that information. I thought maybe the writers were just being a bit tongue-in-cheek, nice to see there was a historical basis for it.

Desperation at it's best

Days of Our Lives

Over at the hospital, Lexie is worried about her father, and is scolding EJ for all that has transpired. She tells him this has got to stop, he has a family now – he should think of them - people are getting hurt, yada, yada. She goes in to sit with Stefano, as EJ contemplates her words….but Nicole does not want him to give up. She needs him, loves him, doesn’t know what she & Sydney will do without him. EJ gets a call, tells the person to keep looking for Owen. Nicole really presses EJ not to give up yet.

I wonder why Nicole is so desperate? Can someone help me out here... The desperation is getting on my last nerve. It is the same thing day in and day out.

The thing I picked up on was that Nicole said she needs him and his daughter needs him. She did not say our daughter. Wonder if this is the start of her slipping up and getting found out. Stefano may hear her saying something like that and put the puzzle together.

I don't understand where this is coming from all of a sudden either. Nicole was initially against the feud, saying that she was worried about her and Sydney's safety and tried to talk EJ out of it. Now when he wants to stop, she wants him to continue? That's just strange. I can't think of anything she has to gain from it, unless she likes that EJ is starting to treat her better again and relates it to her support of him in the feud.

Wow, just watched the episode and it was great.....loved the Melanie and Philip scenes....
And the Victor-Bo confrontation was excellent....very very good writing and acting....as well as the Brady-Victor confrontation....truth on both sides....the writing and acting is superb.....

Lexie's scenes with Stefano kind of made me a little green around the gills....not consistent with character or story at all.....

Love to see Bo on screen more....he's such a great character.....

And do all mortuaries keep guns in a drawer in the body room....??

Owen is the kind of kook that will shoot Stephanie and then himself......

Wow, today was one of the best shows maybe ever. If someone doesn't put today's show on an Emmy submission reel, I'll do it myself. The whole show was Emmy-worthy with Emmy-worthy performances by Melanie (loved when she called herself annoying and shallow), Victor (loved how he got emotional when he noted that Bo was ashamed to have him for a father) and Bo (loved how he said that after seeing how Philip turned out, he's grateful that Victor didn't raise him). Brady even had a moment at the end -- when Victor threw him out, he looked truly hurt. And Henderson (it's so nice to have you back where you belong!) with his eye rolling. The whole show was priceless. I may have to watch it again.

Surprisingly, the one performance that I thought wasn't up to par was Philip's. He didn't seem as desperate to find Stephanie as I'd expect. He seemed calm and somewhat leisurely. Who knows, maybe he's enjoying the break. The dialogue was fantastic start to finish. As May Sweeps draws to a close, I hope the great work we've been treated to continues.
