Real life has caused all sorts of unexpected things that have to be dealt with.

As much as I understand the tumult, since they're trying to sell Eric & Nicole as true destined ultra sweetum lovers, it would have been best for the story to just eat the cost of buying Greg Vaughan (Eric) out of his last 8 weeks or whatever rather than damaging the couple further.

I used to hate the phrase "actor proof the story" but it really is a necessary evil. An actress is fired, send the couple out of town together.

Like the one or two times they fired Matthew Ashford (Jack) because Melissa Reeves (Jennifer) wanted to leave the show.

Ok, I was already more annoyed than normal with a person under arrest sitting in that room having rotating visitors. It's just beyond ridiculous. And of course there are no cameras in there to catch any of the interactions because Salem. Then it morphs into a therapy session but not a very good one. Brady was so upset about Theresa (again I'm not sure that was ever really explained as it makes no sense) that he got wasted but also Kristen Kristen Kristen. Yes sir, you need real therapy. And maybe some different family members. They all seem to believe he hit Sarah but he's the one who needs sympathy. Could someone other than his son take him to task here?

Xander did call Eric "one of Brady's enablers". It is true. He is coddled by all of them. Regardless of the truth, he got wasted and got into a car with somebody else he knew had been drinking and let them drive his vehicle.

This was a great episode, and Rolf appearing was the cherry on top, hahaha. The hints or mentions of John are just tragic.

Loved Maggie’s scenes with Xander as well as Brady’s with Marlena.

Sophia and the teen stuff sucks, but she did make a few good points about Holly. And it’s at past time that she went to Paris to visit her mother anyways.
