Thanks for the write-up.

I wish this young Doug dude wouldn't be either an imposter or a thief. I'm just not interested in yet another sleazy new character, after we had Sloan, Talia, and Cat. Enough is enough. Make it something more interesting.

Speaking of, there were definitely interesting interactions and conversations today between a number of characters, and I liked the throwback to JJ's pot donuts. It was a decent show overall.

Thanks, brisbydog.

I'm going with Hope and calling the new guy, Dougie.

I'm glad Hope is suspicious of Dougie and wants Jennifer look into his background. Hopefully, there
is a picture of him, if there is a grandson.

Good for Jennifer bringing up fake Abby because she didn't believe her when other people did.

Poor Steven. He's not in town and everyone thinks he stole the necklace. Then Lucas mentioned
that in front of Dougie. Now Dougie will probably keep the necklace.

I enjoyed the scenes with Belle and Marlena. Belle called Claire "Claire Bear".

Dishonesty, bad judgment, and lack of manners were all front and center today. Fraudster Shaggy was promoting his forged letter like it was one of the New Testament gospels. Then there was foolish Stephanie eating up Shaggy’s b/s with a fork and spoon. Finally there was Hope’s rude treatment of would-be necklace thief Doug Williams III for daring to have the same name as her father and Lucas who continued his tirade against Steven despite the fact that there isn’t a shred of evidence to support his accusations. If Leo was still writing his column, he’d have plenty of material.

I thought Lucas was about to have the Salem brain over Dougie but that look only lasted a second and it was over.

The one thing I thought of today was Holly and Tate could just never return to the screen and I'd barely notice or care. If they ever need to get rid of characters again just rest them for a couple of weeks and forget to bring them back.

And if Bo Brady was awake, he'd be the rightful heir based on tradition as Victor's eldest son. (Excluding what's stated in Victor's will and the forged letter that Philip has.)
I would love for Bo to wake up with Victor's ruthlessness, claim Titan, shake things up for a bit and see the Kiriakis side of him come out, then get back to the Bo we know.
