What's absurd about this writing is that if anyone looks at fake Abby funny all she should say to them is I have amnesia and Chad and Jack are the ones who told me I was Abby. They're the ones who dragged her there. And she shouldn't even pretend to have memories. Chad is such an idiot that he doesn't need them.

Jason, I’d have to doublecheck about Illinois, but in NY spouses get one-half in intestate situations if there are no children.

If the deceased person had children the share is one-third. Clyde appears to think that if Chad dies, his widow gets everything and the rest of the DiMeras get stiffed.

If both spouses names are on the checking, savings, deed........whatever........there is no question the surviving spouse gets all. But it soapland, it seems everything is owned individually, singly, whatever you want to call it.

Illinois law says surving spouse gets it all. However if children, spouse gets half, children split the other half.

Definitely ready for the Connie storyline to come to an end.

But the Clyde and FakeAbby plot is so boring and disappointing. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
