Bistro - Replay of Stefan and EJ talking about morning sex with Gabi. This goes in a circle aside from some barbs about Stefan's own bed time with his brother's wife. Recap of the Jude blackmail, EJ says he didn't sleep with Gabi this morning. He's not calling her a liar but he's going to let him sort this with his wife. He insults Ava, then leaves. Then Ava and Stefan discuss what the truth might be. Stefan thinks if it's 2:1, they should even the score. Ava is not flattered. She doesn't like being used or disrespected. She rejects his offer of sex, friendship, and the job. Stefan apologizes before Ava tells him off again and leaves.

DiMansion Wine Cellar - Replay of Connie's plan to kill Gabi and Melinda and then blow up/burn down the DiMansion. Later, Gabi comes to and they recap the full list of Connie’s crimes. They discuss the soundproof room and a possible plan. Gabi is sure some DiMera lush will be here soon. Melinda insults Gabi's choice of assistant. Gabi reminds her they must find a way out together. Gabi's phone is on the floor. EJ is calling.

Private Area - Chad did a PTA dunk tank for treasurer Kristen. (He's shirtless if you're into that sort of thing.) Then they talk about "Abby". (Thomas and Rachel are apparently plotting.) Chad says "Abby" is getting memories back. Kristen needles him about "Abby" and her reticence to spend time with her children. Rachel wants to invite her cousins over but Kristen keeps dodging because "Abby" lives at DiMansion. Chad isn't convinced, has to go to work. They stand but keep talking about "Abby" before Chad invites Kristen to the Horton House with Rachel. She doesn't think Julie would like that. Chad leaves; Connie comes by and Kristen confronts her.

Hospital Establishing Shot - Exam Room - "Abby" runs in and shows her brother Dr. Mark Greene the message from Clyde Weston. "Abby" doesn't know what to do. Mark says she has to listen to Clyde. He commends "Abby" for her charade as she recaps some of her flubs. "Abby" has several scenes consternating about the plot. Mark reminds her he is risking his medical license and they have to "get this right" for Aaron and Felicity. "Abby" talks about the wedding vows; Mark wonders if she's falling for Chad. They both agree Chad doesn't deserve this, but what do they do about Clyde? Mark will deal with him.

Prison - Steve is, with the help of Shane, pretending to be Clyde Weston's lawyer. Clyde is surprised Steve hasn't found his niece yet. Steve knows Clyde has been in contact with "Abby". Clyde denies it, they talk about Steve's doubts. Steve wonders why John Black was being held with "Abby". Clyde claims a bigger boss was just borrowing his safe house in Poplar Bluff. Steve finds the coincidence unconvincing. He dangles his ISA connections and a possible prison relocation to Clyde.

Private Area - Kristen is mad about Connie's gossipy attitude at work. She's mad about the secret which made her have to fire Ava. Kristen puts her on notice. Connie snipes back with choice words, but "covers". Connie slinks away, Chad returns and tells her there's an APB out on Connie Vininski. Kristen realizes she provoked her, calls the police while Chad collects the kids.

Square - EJ leaves a message for Gabi letting her know about his confrontation with Stefan. He asks her to call him back.

DiMansion Wine Cellar - Gabi sees EJ left a message, knows he will need a call back. She partially recaps the DiMansion sexcapades before Melinda reminds her that they are in mortal danger. Gabi needs to see Stefan before she dies. She is halfway to the phone when Connie arrives. Connie grabs Gabi's phone and puts down a large pipe bomb. Gabi needles her about her murders, and points out that if she murders more people, she'll still be lonely, confused, hurt, and angry. This won't solve anything.

Prison - Clyde calls Steve's bluff. He calls for the guard, Steve leaves and we switch to the hallway. A few moments after Steve leaves, Mark enters (looking in the direction Steve went).

Horton House - "Abby" is reading a slip of paper. Chad enters. She tells him she remembered something.

Prison - Mark has fake credentials also as Clyde's lawyer. Clyde wants the DiMera fortune which is apparently what this lame plot is all about. (Kidnapping Rachel and forcing Mark to marry Kristen would have seemed more efficient.)

DiMansion Living Room - EJ enters, calls for Gabi. He pours coffee, notices the poker, which he picks up. "Is that blood?"

DiMansion Wine Cellar - Connie is hurt and angry but she is not confused. Melinda reminds her about Li's wishes, Gabi offers Connie anything she wants. Connie enjoys the grovelling but declines both offers. She activates the bomb and leaves. The bomb has 2 minutes, 28 seconds, counting down. END.
 
Really? Really?? All of this fake Abigail garbage is so Clyde can have the DiMera fortune? And how is that supposed to play out? Chad's not part of the active family any longer. Well, I've now spent more time typing this up than the writers did thinking about it.

Kenny, you need new music for the show, please write something better.

Stefan you are a donkey's butt.

I was hoping that, when Gabi and Connie were talking upstairs, Gabi was recording on her phone.

So, if that bomb detonates, who else is in the mansion besides EJ? Harold and other staff?

I get Gabi's hope that someone will come down there for a bottle, but what are the odds that would happen in time?

I do think that EJ and Connie will have an encounter when she comes back upstairs. She will run out of the mansion, but he will probably check out the cellars for any wrongdoing. No way he can rescue Gabi and Melinda in time.

I laughed at Clyde's mention of "Jackie Chiles." That was the name of the lawyer Phil Morris (Greg's son) played on Seinfeld in a few episodes.

Clyde mentioned Mark's mother only. I thought both parents were "killed in a car crash," so where is the father if we know that did not happen?

I wasn't sure about the legalities regarding a marriage when one partner, perhaps presumed dead, returns. I found this:

"A dead person coming back to life would not reinstate a marriage (or invalidate a subsequent one), because the resurrected spouse had died, thus ending the marriage."

We know that Chad will remarry Abigal in a heartbeat. Since most Salem weddings do not happen as planned, I hope this one follows suit.

Per Roman the house was empty. But who knows who could have used the travel portal since then.

With Anna out of town, Nicole in Paris, the odds are way down there.

Wait Wilde Woman, you think the writers remember what they've written? Come on now, think about it. They don't.
 
Ninety percent of today's episode was disgusting. Stefan surely can't love Gabi and propose revenge sex with Ava. Three cheers for Ava! Everyone knows about crazy Connie, so if hopefully EJ or Abby come in before she gets out of the house, MAYBE that will save the day.
 
Isn't Abigail already married to Chad? This is the stupidest story. Well this and Connie are tied. Chad is an idiot due to how convinced he is that this is Abigail because of DNA test. Have Aaron & Felicity not seen their sister pretending to be Abigail around town?

Stefan, you are very creepy and I am glad that Ava told you off. You will want Gabi back once you know what she went through. Only 2 minutes 30 seconds on the bomb. This has to end tomorrow. Good lord, Connie was 20 feet away when Chad told Kristen about APB. Chase after her!
 
Wait, wait, wait, so Chad won't get his share of the DiMera fortune because he's not part of the active family? I don't get it. He's Stefano's son. Wouldn't he get that fortune, anyway?

Well, then I hope when this all comes out Chad will say something like "Joke's on you, Weston. I don't have access to the family fortune!" Oh, snap!

Poor Mama Greene was kidnapped/put in danger for nothing! Poor Mark will lose his job and his reputation for nothing as well (Kayla disowned Sami for being mean to Abigail, she's totally going to fire Mark for this).
 
Clyde’s plan to get the entire DiMera fortune is as dumb as he is. Chad is just one DiMera sibling, which means he only holds a fraction of DiMera assets. Should he die, it’s likely that his wife would get about one-third of his estate with his children getting the other two-thirds. That means creepy Clyde and Fake Abigail are going to a lot of trouble for only a small portion of the total DiMera fortune.

Equally idiotic is the whole Connie plot. Where did she get what looks like a professionally-made bomb? Does the West Salem mall have a bomb shop among its commercial establishments? It would serve her right if it’s a fake that has a ‘bang you’re dead” sign that pops up when the timer reaches 0:00. Speaking of the awful Connie, hopefully, EJ finding the poker isn’t a red herring. By now, most of the viewers probably would cheer if Elvis put it to good use by doing severe bodily injury to the deranged lunatic.

Kudos to Ava for refusing to involve herself in Stefan Zero’s tacky, sexual revenge plot against Gabi. What a fool he is. By now he’s firmly established himself as a sleazy lowlife. And Ava was right about working for Roman — she’s better off slinging hash and serving burgers, chowder, and garbage can nachos than managing Zero’s pretentious, overrated Bistro.

Stefan was a toad for telling Ava that Gabi was ahead by having sex with EJ again. I'm glad she told him no, but
she should have slapped him or kicked him where it hurts.

But if Stefan and Ava went to the DiMansion, they would blow up with the bomb.

So FakeAbby had another memory and Chad will get so excited when he hears it. I can't wait for this stupid
storyline is over.

What is the connection with John and FakeAbby? John was in Greece. Why was he there? To see the woman's
grave he killed. Is she really dead? Is there a connection with the woman and FakeAbby?

I assumed when Chad gave the paper back to Jack he wasn't working there, but we found out today he is.

EJ found the poker. How long will it take for him to notice the secret door open?
 
Gotta say, that as we watch events unfold, we find more and more nothing making sense.....we are poking holes in it all right and left. Do 3 or 4 different writers do scenarios that are all just thrown into the pot, stirred, and however they come out is what we get to watch?

Stefan WAS a rather nice guy, but seems that was an act...........or misinterpritation on the part of viewers.

Rafe was always immediate in not taking anything at face value. Suspicion was his 2nd nature. Seems now it is 3rd or 4th. thank goodness Jada is a cop.

I like Ava trying to turn herself into a more honest person, a nicer woman............but I'd like her to be way more on the ball into recognizing the fakes, the scams, and blow the whistle. She has to be very aware of how it all works, so should be on to "Abigail" right off the bat.

And for the record........hey, writers........we all saw Abigail knifed, dead for some time. As did Salemites. You honestly ask us to think Salem just accepted, without proof, that she was not dead, and her different face, body size, voice is just fine.

Cannot tell you all how happy I am that the guy whose pic is in my avatar, is the one casting doubt. Patch Johnson..you ARE the man!
