I'm catching up on episodes this week. Konstantin makes me crazy. I'm begging the powers that be to steer clear of a romance with Maggie or I'm going to lose my lunch.

Stefano & Victor were nasty villains, but were likable, as written..... and as portrayed by Joe Mascolo & John Aniston. The viewers liked them, tolerated their crimes, and were sorry when they no longer existed. (their portrayers died). Days really could use another villain of the same caliber, and Konstantin could have been that villain. Unfortunately he is not being written the same way.... smart, nasty but caring, polite, but evil. Instead he is creepy, sinister, a lowlife all the time. Am sure most of the public can't wait to see his demise.

I want as grisly a demise as possible. Push the limits to the extreme give censors a heart attack.

Also - I can't fight through a full-time character with a horrible fake accent. It's fine (I guess) if Konstantin has one or two scenes in a couple of weeks on a temporary story arc. This is months of listening to a nonsense accent. It's so grating. I hope one of the reveals is that he's faking and really from Pittsburgh, so we can end it.
