So the whole Rafe’s phone call scene makes no sense. Arnold answered the phone and met up with Jada. I thought he had it with him when he looked at her pic before sitting with her at the Pub. So when exactly did EJ get the phone back? He said it must have fallen out of his pocket when he dragged Rafe downstairs, but Arnold had the phone then.

Awwww, do the writers ever pay attention to what they wrote previously?

Days has trouble behind the scenes, for a while now. Sometimes the actors are able to remind the director......but...sometimes no one has a clue, it seems.

I think EJ took the phone from Arnold. Maybe after Arnold told Jada he was doing a case for Black Patch.

I'm glad Jada is suspicious of the text after talking to Arnold and all the odd words he said to her.
I hope she pings the phone to see where it is.

Rafe should have known that yelling in the "secret" room no one would hear him. Hasn't he been
there before and others have been there too?

I was disappointed EJ didn't take up Rafe on the offer to go after Arnold. Hopefully, Rafe will be found
before the wedding day.

Enjoyed the scenes with Belle, Marlena and later when Shawn came by.

I find it hard to believe a woman who once suggested and enthusiastically participated in a threesome is this uptight over some non-sexual non-monogamy. I can see Chanel being mad about the deception and making Johnny suffer a while, but she's pearl clutching a LOT over, ultimately, a lesser infraction where he came to his senses. Calling Joy a terrible person? Quitting? She's acting like someone who holds total and complete monogamy as the core of an entire relationship, and that doesn't make sense.

And let’s not forget she was “married” to Xander for a few minutes when she thought he was rich. To borrow a Tommy Lee Jones line from the “Fugitive,” “Cosmo, she’s dirty.”

Failed apologies were the order of the day as the heartless, nasty Chanel closed her heart to pity when it comes to the hapless Joy(less). It’s too bad Nancy isn’t around to defend her daughter. A Nancy-Chanel confrontation would be worth the price of admission.

Then there was poor Leo trying to apologize to the useless Javi. Leo should save his energy. Javi isn’t worth Leo’s skilled, apologetic exertions.

Finally, EJ is really digging himself in a hole by holding Rafe captive. Will fast talking and blaming everything on Arnold and Father save his sorry DiMera butt?

Just wanted to mention again that Marlena fretting about EJ's job was stupid, BUT it could have worked if she was fretting with her grandson who also happens to be EJ's son who could have then sought grandma's advice about his blunders.

I know what happened in the scene. But he didn’t have the phone with him when EJ took him down to the tunnel. Arnold had it because he answered Jada’s call and then looked at her picture on it when he walked into the Pub to sit down with her. The question is when the phone made its way back to EJ for it to “fall out of his pocket” since he apparently hadn’t been back down since the party.

Unless I’m misremembering the scene and Arnold tossed the phone back to Rafe after he took Jada’s call. ‍*shrugs*

Chanel needs to sit down and shut up. I was with her until she called Joy a bad person. Chanel slept with a married man, and there was no pulling back like Johnny did with Joy. I hate hypocrisy.

Looking at it from afar:
1. New to town Joy goes to a bar
2. She talks with a handsome man
3. They drink
So far what's wrong or bad??
4. Suggest they go to her room to continue drinking. By now she knows he's married but the guy accepts the offer.
5. Guy backs out of adulting.
6. Guy feels guilty, lies to wife
7. Guy tells dad, dad tries to pay off girl.
8. Joy tells Alex about why she's getting paid.

And Joy is the bad person??

The phone was with Rafe. He did his best to make noise, but Jada didn't get it. Then EJ picked it up and pocketed it.

As others pointed out, Arnold took Rafe's phone after he knocked him out. He literally used it to look at Jada's picture before meeting her at the pub. So the phone couldn't have still been with Rafe in the DiDungeon when Jada called and he was able to moan/mumble into it yesterday. The writers messed up.

I can't contribute to the timeline of Rafe's phone. I only watch when I summarize, and even then it can be hard to follow the inanity at times!!

It could be a writers' flub, or a cut scene (although I think they have fewer of those now, they still script things they don't always end up filming), or both, LOL.
