Kudos to Shaggy Phil for preventing Xander from giving Titan to Kritter Kristen. The whole thing was a very nasty blackmail scheme that richly deserved to go down in flames. Eat dirt and die, Kritter.

Melinda certainly took inept DA EJ to the cleaners in the Fiona case. It’s true that EJ has no case for “attempted vehicular homicide” because there’s no proof witchy Fiona was driving drunk or in a reckless or grossly negligent manner. However, Elvis has her dead to rights for leaving the scene of an accident where a person was seriously injured. And if Sarah and Xander would only speak up, Elvis could nail Fiona for the attempted murder of Sarah when she tried to shove her down the stairs. (Sarah could also file a negligence suit against the witch, but her status as a semi-pauper makes such a suit pointless.)

Finally, pity poor Stefan Zero. Just as there’s new hope for his marriage to Gabi, some ninja-type invades the DiMansion and attacks him. When are the stingy DiMeras ever going to spend money on a decent security system especially when the never-seen Harold can’t even be counted on to keep the doors and windows locked.

Thanks, brisbydog.

A good episode today.

The outside shot of the police station had birds singing.

Nice to see Rafe's kitchen. It's been awhile since we've seen it.

Did EJ let Fiona go because Melinda mentioned Brady probably killed Philip? Will EJ try again since Philip isn't dead?

Melinda has an odd contract at DiMera since she can do outside lawyer work.

Both Stefan and Gabi want to work out their marriage. Is it too late for them?

Poor Sarah, she went to Horton Square and found Fiona drinking. Will Fiona move back into the Salem Inn?

Great cliffhanger today with Stefan getting strangled by someone and Philip walking into the K-mansion den.

Kritter Kristen should be in prison for murdering Melinda's daughter. Instead, Melinda is working for Kristen.

And if Sarah and Xander would only speak up, Elvis could nail Fiona for the attempted murder of Sarah when she tried to shove her down the stairs. (Sarah could also file a negligence suit against the witch, but her status as a semi-pauper makes such a suit pointless.)
I think Xander told EJ about how he witnessed his mother trying to push Sarah down the stairs.

What about the attempted murder of Sarah that Xander witnessed?
Is she being charged with that? It would also be largely based on Sarah and Xander's perception and word. Any two-bit defense lawyer could poke holes in their trustworthiness without flinching.
But it was more than just DUI.
But it was all predicated on the initial act, which if they can't prove, they would have to separately prove these offences. Again at this point don't they just have drunk Brady and recently-less-than-honest Sarah's word that she was at the accident?

I mean, we spent 2 years with a romantic lead who was a serial killer. Fiona's not even on the radar for Salem crimes.

I loved it when Xander snarled, "Philip!"

This is a potentially good storyline and a welcome change from Body & Soul.

But we are still dealing with the aftermath of the Abby reveal, and I should hope that someone, like Chad, does his best to find out where real Abby's body is. One of many questions to be answered.
