I want Chanel and Johnny to work it out. I like them as a couple, but he needs to suffer a little. He lied A LOT and had her looking like a fool. But ultimately, he didn’t sleep with Joy. Chanel needs to get over it quickly. We’ll see how it goes. At least Johnny has youth as an excuse for being immature. He did the same pattern of lying all the adults do, and some of them are in their 50s.
 
I guess I've never felt much real connection between Johnny and Chanel to begin with but I suppose that's just a function of the writing where we don't get any real romance or dating anymore. I have to problem with this story going as real life would. I think if you're newly married and your husband calls you a *bleep* then you're packing your bags right there.
 
What gets me about this is Chanel's complaint that Johnny "allowed" Chanel to become friends with Joy. Chanel who wouldn't take no for an answer from Joy on any invitation. Hey, it's Halloween, come watch scary movies with us. NO, REALLY, come!! What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Oh, come eat with us. NO, you are going to come eat with us.

No Chanel, dearie, you forced your friendship onto Joy, who didn't want to be a close friend of yours.
 
Oh yeah Chanel was definitely annoying about all of that but the plot don't you know. I just don't think she should have taken him back to begin with. I sit here thinking what I would have done if my new husband called me a *bleep* and no way baby. I might be rooting for them if they had more of a relationship foundation but I don't think we even got that. Quick first marriage that of course was just to break them up with the devil and I feel like their getting back together was pretty quick. Chanel and Allie actually had a more detailed coming together.
