Joy is being insecure.
Stephanie recovers from her dream; she and Philip have a weird conversation. But any conversation with Philip tends towards the weird. Philip accuses her of pretending to not remember the dream as to not hurt his feelings.
JJ and Gabi wake up all spooning and still holding hands. JJ is glad he stayed, they kiss. Something breaks downstairs.
Paulina continues to loudly grill her daughter about Johnny stepping out.
Now Abe and Paulina know the woman in this Johnny and Chanel mess is Joy Wesley. Johnny tells Abe that Joy had not yet been hired, he didn’t know Joy, and Joy was not a cast member.
Alex tells Joy that he and Stephanie are over, and that Stephanie is now with Philip.
Stephanie fesses up she was dreaming about Alex. This upsets Philip and he leaves. He claims he really cares about Stephanie, he wants a relationship.

Now Paulina asks for more information and trashing on Joy. The went to the hotel room but didn’t have sex. Why, then, are you upset? The incredulous Paulina asks. They didn’t have sex.
JJ, in his boxer shorts, runs into the kitchen with a tennis racket and yells, “Don’t move” to Javi, who is squatting with his back to JJ and Gabi. He's picking up pieces of the broken dish. Don’t kill me, Javi says as he turns around and sees JJ. Then says, well, maybe kill me. Javi broke a mixing bowl. He's making his special New Year’s pancakes. They all sit at the table.
