Days of Our Lives - Fri., Oct. 18, 2024

It takes 8 hours to fly from the Chicago area to Paris and then there's a 7 hour time difference!
There's a shortcut through the forests of Greenland.
Aaron and Tate certainly spent a long time chatting in the Salem High hallway. It would have been a nice touch if TPTB had spent a few dollars to hire an extra to play a teacher who tells them, “Get to class.
It's not clear (when is time not fluid in Salem) but school is done (Sophia's at work, they're making plans, etc).

Thanks, Jason.

Another good episode with that woman being finally caught.

Kayla told Roman that Steve left in the morning so it's possible that Steve got there in time
to save the day.

I loved the headline of the Salem Spectator "The mother in law did it".

Clyde's drug operation must be international to have someone leave a gun for Mark.

Mark isn't the smartest since he was showing off his gun in public.

Kayla needs to figure out a better system at the hospital for DNA tests.

It's going to be interesting what Chad does now since he got fooled/tricked.

What's going to happen now with the Greene family's mom? Will Steve try to help find
her? Is she still alive?

I don't believe that Sophia is one dimensional.

I have to say I've always sort of liked Sophia. I thought Holly treated her badly from the beginning so I've given her leeway. I admittedly tend to always like the character they want us to not like. I was team Theresa back in the day when she was supposed to be the bad girl being a terrible influence on JJ.

And I also think it's funny that Chad very suddenly found his brain today. He's been so excited to blow off anything weird and all of a sudden he's all over this. There's something generally weak about him that annoys me.

School wasn't done. That bell signaled the end of lunch period.

Tate said that he talked so long that Sophia didn't have time to eat lunch. Sophia said that she had work release. That means she works instead of attending classes after lunch.

What an idiot Clyde is — using a coerced amateur like Greene to shoot Chad when he could have hired a French professional. Squirrel Stew is clearly too cheap for his own good.
Since Chad is in France, perhaps Clyde could have hired Léon the Professional.

(Jean Reno's assassin character from the 1994 film Léon: The Professional also known as Léon or The Professional.)

Thanks for the write-up. This was another great show! I'd just been waiting for Steve to show up, and am glad we didn't have to wait for it until Monday. Looks like they are wrapping up both the Fiona and "Abby" storylines fairly quickly. I just hope the reason isn't so they can devote all their attention to B&S.
