Bistro - Ava is reading an article about Fiona committing the hit-and-run. Sophia (surname Choi) comes in 3 minutes late. Ava will overlook it. Dinner starts in an hour. Tate told Sophia that Brady was cleared. They talk about the day that Fiona was mean to Sophia. Sophia laments her loss as now she has nobody to talk to. Ava asks about this, learns about how Holly broke girl code by pursuing the guy (Tate) she liked including the prom scam. Sophia is concerned that she may be moving in on Tate too fast, and Tate is hung up on Holly. Ava gives her advice to ignore others' opinions and own who she is. They get to work, but Sophia gets permission to call "Ms Vitali" Ava.

School (establishing shot) - Tate and Aaron discuss Holly, the breakup, the slap, the snooping. Sophia being "into" Tate, which Aaron is OK with since he liked her but she was always into Tate. They talk about how attractive Sophia is and how hung up on Holly Tate is, as well as all the bad things Holly did (including lying about the drugs). Aaron re-affirms he's OK with Tate pursuing Sophia. Tate wants to make plans, but Aaron has to watch Felicity.

Paris (L'arc de triomphe shot) - JJ toasts Abigail. He's sorry he didn't reach out sooner, not even by video or by phone. Holly reacts and has a flashback. She asks if they spoke "last night" on the phone. "Abby" makes her feel awkward and Holly scoots. "Abby" can't explain how she lied to Holly to angry Chad about talking to JJ.

Pub - Roman gets a recap from Kayla about Chad and Fake Abby in Salem Paris. She's not Abigail. Roman drops his classic line. Kayla's trust was betrayed by Dr Greene. She turned Mark in to Jada. They are going to arrest him. Later, they are still recapping, including Jennifer's intuitions. Later again, Kayla tries to call Steve who is en route to Paris.

Paris's Only Café, Apparently (Le tour d'Eiffel establishing shot) - Mark asks Clyde how he is supposed to murder Chad? Clyde, fortunately unseen, directs him to an envelope stashed on a chair. It has a gun. He stares at it. Later, the deposed Holly runs into him and they talk about why they're in the City of Lights (her mom lives there, his parents own property there and he's dealing with their estate). He learns Chad has married "Abigail".

Paris, Chad's Townhouse - "Abby" asks to speak to Chad privately, JJ scoots. Chad presses "Abby".

The Loneliest Café in Paris - Mark and Holly chat about Abigail DiMera, whom he doesn't know. He leaves. JJ arrives. He and Holly talk about these odd coincidences involving "Abigail" and Mark Greene.

Paris, Chad's Townhouse - Chad keeps pressing "Abby". Knock, knock. Mark is there. He clumsily explains who he is as Chad glowers and "Abby" looks terrified. Chad has a flashback. He does know Dr. Greene. He recounts his flashback. "Abby" demands to know what Mark is doing here. Chad does, too. Mark says he's sorry, but he has no other choice. He wields the gun. He doesn't want to do it, but it's what "he" wants.

Bistro - Tate arrives and asks Sophia on a date. He leaves, she's happy. Ava looks on happily.

The Loneliest Café in Continental Europe - JJ wonders why "Abigail" lied. He thinks she's not his sister perhaps. He knows evidence can be faked. He remembers his mom's feeling/intuition. Maybe Holly catching the lie is proof that this isn't Abigail.

Pub - Kayla can't reach Chad still, but fortunately Steve is en route to Paris to stop the scammer wedding.

Chad's Townhouse in Paris - Mark holds the gun, says Clyde wants Chad dead. "Abigail" steps between them. Mark is knocked unconscious. Reveal Steve. Chad asks what is going on? Steve says this woman is not Abigail.
 
Now this is a fairly good cliffhanger

Mark is a civilian. In Paris, no civilian can carry a gun in a public place. Since he held a gun on Chad, by France laws, he is in deep trouble and looking at serious jail time. Fabby will likely have have some charges too.

What will become of Felicity and Aaron if their guardian is serving time in Paris? Who in Salem could be their foster parents?

I am beginning to think Creepy Crummy Criminal Clyde is scamming the Greenes about having their mom.

Do you think someone out to commit a murder is looking to obey laws as to legally having/carrying a gun???

I'm guessing Mark and Fake Abby will end up telling Steve and Chad about Clyde holding their mother captive and this was all done on his orders, and that they will agree to help them save their mom.

I like Aaron and Tate's friendship. Louis Tomeo (Aaron) is 22 but does pass for a teenager. Leo Howard (Tate) is 27. Both are very good in their roles, but as we have said before, Tate looks a bit too old to pass for a teen; however, Aaron fits the role. I am glad that Aaron is not jealous of Tate possibly dating Sophia. He is a trustworthy friend, based on his actions so far.

I don't believe that Sophia is one dimensional. She seems to be a loner, with no other friends than Holly, and that relationship is over. She probably grew up having to fend for herself and is always in self-protection mode. Maybe she and Tate will be good together.

So I guess the Paris apartment door was open, I don't think Steve had trouble getting in, as we didn't hear a door being busted open. That was convenient. I'm glad it happened that way. Another second, it might have been too late. I am just glad we will be finding out about the Greene family and how this whole plan was hatched by Clyde.

Chad sure came at fake Abby about that phone call with JJ that never happened. She was not prepared to create an excuse, and it never got that far, anyway. Glad Holly brought it up. It created suspicion for Chad.

Enjoyed Roman and Kayla. They need more scenes together.

I didn't even think the cliffhanger would get to that point, thought we would see Steve on Monday. Glad we didn't have to wait.
 
So now, now after he's married, Chad is all up in Fake Abby's business? Curious about who she has been talking with? Jealousy? Or what seems like it turned on awfully quickly.

I'm thrilled to know that Clyde has minions in Paris that can plant a gun for him, and that his prison cell phone has international minutes.

But in the end, none of this story makes sense if the Greene kids are who spoilers say they are.

And that was one quick flight from Salem to Paris. Chad and Fabby were already dressed for the wedding when Kayla sent that text and Steve had just left the hospital. He was able to fly to Paris and even with the time difference, still get there in time.

It takes 8 hours to fly from the Chicago area to Paris and then there's a 7 hour time difference! LOL
 
I'm delighted that they've wrapped up this stupid faux Abby story. And I love that Steve came to the rescue. But the wrap-up felt much too rushed to me. As Robin mentioned, Chad went from total delirious dupe to angry and suspicious in about three seconds? Or was he faking it knowing the marriage wouldn't "take" since "Abby" misrepresented her identity? I hope that turns out to be the case. It's been hard lately to believe that Chad could be so clueless, even in Salem (or Paris).

Was so glad to see that Kayla was trying to call Chad. Glad it's over, but yeah, Steve got there pretty quick. And appears no time difference. But yay, Fabigail is done. Like others said, they will probably admit all and Chad & Steve will help them with mommy. After which Chad will fall in love with Fabigail for real. Ugh. But Chad is pretty dumb.

Tate & Sophia will get together, but then it will probably come out that Holly pretty much busted Fabigail and Tate will want her again.
 
All hail the mighty Steve, the savior of clueless Chad and the ruination of evildoers. He deserves our eternal gratitude for finally outing Fake Abigail.

What an idiot Clyde is — using a coerced amateur like Greene to shoot Chad when he could have hired a French professional. Squirrel Stew is clearly too cheap for his own good.

Ava was really laying advice on Sophia today. Maybe she should write a book entitled “Teen’s Guide to Life and Love.” It would probably be a bestseller at the Salem Barnes & Noble.

Aaron and Tate certainly spent a long time chatting in the Salem High hallway. It would have been a nice touch if TPTB had spent a few dollars to hire an extra to play a teacher who tells them, “Get to class.”

Finally, it was good to hear Roman get in a few “what da hells” today. This line is as synonymous with Roman as burgers and chowder.
