Days of Our Lives - Fri., Nov. 29, 2024

Thanks, Jason.

I enjoy the flashbacks since they were from years I wasn't watching. I bet there will be more next week.

Eli is a great grandson taking care of his grandma.

I wonder how much of Doug's death happened in real life with Susan & Bill Hayes (Julie/Doug).

I started tearing up when Jennifer talked to Hope and said that Doug called her princess.

Bo moved his finger. Is he going to get better?

The scene at the end of all the women being with Julie was nice to see.

That's a picture of Maggie in her wedding gown from 1974. Not sure who the woman is with her. I poked around and believe she is Mrs. Jennings, the minister's wife. Jason47 can confirm, or tell us who she is if she isn't Mrs. Jennings.
Thanks, I thought it was Maggie and knew it had been discussed before, but my fingers were nearly falling off by this point, so research wasn't happening!! LOL
I did wonder at first if Hope was in Salem
I'm no prop-spotter at all but even I thought WHAT!? Isn't that the living room from Salem?
And instead of just being filler, the use of flashbacks was informative and entertaining.
What bugs me is it shows they KNOW how to use flashback but CHOOSE to use them as filler more often than not!!

I think they did a good job today and I looked forward to seeing more of what they do. I kept my emotions in check until Maggie's flashback for some reason. I really appreciated the scenes of the long time characters. And so, because I can't help myself, I did feel like Paulina entering threw things off. It wasn't the worst thing ever obviously but it seemed weird and honestly I felt like it should have been Abe who went to the house.

I cried a lot. Had to be for hard for Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) who did it in real life then had to do it again in reel life. I think everyone's emotions were real. Loved Doug. But 98 is a good long life. Loved the flashbacks.

So nice to have the real Jennifer back.

I like that we get to see Victor just like we get to see Stefano.

Is Bo going to wake up?

Well, you know Jason, you may have forgotten that totally useless scene that happened just 7 minutes ago that the producers thought to be so artistically done they show it to you again.

Thanks for summarizing this well-done but heartbreaking show. Good to see so many faces, Bo’s potential recovery. But I felt so sad for the actress knowing what happened in real life. She and the show did this episode so tastefully. This was a tear-jerker but a good way to end the holiday week.
