Stefano DiMera was one of the greatest soap characters of all time. As much as I hated Stefano, I loved to watch Joe on screen. I was hoping he'd reappear as a ghost or in newly created flashbacks.

Such sad news. Since he was battling Alzheimer's for a long time, it is truly remarkable that her continued to perform as well as he did, even to the end of Stefano's days. I always enjoyed watching him play the role.

Sad day. Always loved my cup a Joe on Days. He was the one you love to hate.
