Muzz, what's happening to your friend is so sad, even for those of us who don't know him. I know it's heartbreaking for him and for those of you who know him personally and have a special connection with him. It's good he has you for a friend.
Poirot, and the rest of you who are having dreadful weather, I pray your heating systems and other necessities will keep working through all this. Poirot, it seems like maybe your temperatures just get too cold for your heat to keep up with it. I'm using little electric heaters to keep the chill off me when I'm sitting or standing around.
Sexton, we have the temperature swings here in the northern part of the state as well. Right now the wind is switching back and forth from north to south to north so fast it makes you dizzy! Every few days I get sniffles and throat irritation. So do a lot of other people. I never know if I'm getting sick or just having allergies. ..... I hope your tire is okay. I get that same thing with tire alert coming on in cold weather. It's frustrating because I don't want to get out and check the air in cold weather but I don't want to drive off without knowing either.
Kat, I sure hope your parking situations works out when the rest of the concrete is being done, and that the weather won't be bad during that time.
Robin, my son says he lets their dog sleep on their bed because it keeps his feet warm.
So, Squirrel, I guess schools don't have to take so many snow days off anymore, since they're set up to do classes from home. I hope you stay well during your vacation time.
Wilde Woman, a pigeon with galoshes,
. That's always been a funny word to me. I don't think I'd ever heard of it until I was in Pennsylvania. I'm glad you're getting some rain.
Lil0, White Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas movies.
Kat, the scene on the train was a fun one. Nice song too.
Another long day to the same town we went to yesterday but I went by myself today. Got my eye exam and went to three other places, besides eating at McDonald's. Uh, not ideal but I was in a hurry. Still got home "late," 4:40. Hey, that's not too long before dark!
