wonder how people's pet are doing? I do mean the dogs........has to be very difficult for them. hope all the folks are staying in, has the Post office announced closure for tomorrow in your area?

The storm has reached the east coast where we have about six inches on the ground. Snow storms of this size are somewhat unusual here, which means the media is having a fine time. As for pets, when our beagle was still alive, I’d clear a path to the plowed street, allowing her to have her regular walks around the neighborhood.

Robin, are those names just for this storm, or permanent names?

I think they are for a season or longer. Last year we had Darth Blader and I don't see "him" on the list and Plowy McPlow-Face on the list..... but they could be elsewhere for the storm.....
