I fully believe he'll be back. Higher ups will cave and bring him back on board due to the outcry.

I agree with you Muzza. At the end of the day, this is the fault of TPTB for not wanting to write for Steve. Therefore, he was offered a contract with a lower guarantee. That's what caused him to negotiate his contract in the first place. And he has every right to do so. I may not agree with how the actor has been handling himself on social media but I've also seen actors have worse issues with the show and be brought back. So I think it's just a matter of TPTB admitting they made a mistake and then bringing him back.

Yep.....Chandler Massey (Will) was fired instantly after his "mistake", never to darken Days' sets again.....but is back. Bryan D. (Lucas) was put in a coma, sent to CA and off the show, after a comment he made in jest......took a few years, but they did bring him back. But Heather has a point about writers either not being able to create story for some characters, or just not wanting to write for them, period. When they are forced to do so....it never comes out well.

Melissa Reeves(Jennifer) was sued by the show for breach of contract back in the 90s after her abrupt departure and she's back too

Yeah I feel sorry for the writers who do not want to write for a certain character...duh....isn't that why they get paid the big bucks WRITING for the show and satisfying the fans to attract more revenue?
That is why they are called W-R-I-T-E-R-S.

Saw this on youtube the official Fall preview. Looks like Princess Gina is back and Kyle Lowder is indeed Rex Brady! I liked the scene where Eric Martsolf (Brady) calls Kyle Lowder (Rex) as Brady, LOL!
