Yes, we see that Days is giving the younger characters more to do, as they move into place to be front and center eventually I think Sophia is going to work well, the actress is really good. I liked the character of Ben, and the actor was terrific at his portrayal, but I really do not like Alex, or the portrayal, but half the blame is on the writers in this case.
I really liked Bo and Hope, understand their desire to not continue in those roles, am hoping another twosome will be able to fill the void.
Gabi & Stefan just did not do it for me, and of late, we rarely see either one, especially Stefan.
Days was lucky back in the day, their couples worked so well. Unfortunately , we have lost actors writers, and whatever goes on behind the scenes has affected a lot. Ted Corday does not seem to have the same ability his parents did in regards to the show. and it is apparent.
O.K. we have lost Bo, Hope, John & Marlena, Steve and Kayla........major couples on Days. I don't see any other MAJOR potential couples to take up the mantles. And I just may not be looking in the right places. I sure hope the present writing team has good surprises in store for us all.
