OK, so we're getting bits and pieces of the Greene family's story, pieces that don't necessarily make sense.

What are some of your best theories as to what's going on with them? Get as outlandish as you want.

And you know how Days likes to connect newbies to established characters, so what random character or family would you connect the Greene siblings to?

Mark took his mother's maiden name, his paternal last name is Horton. He is really Tommy Horton's grandson. He believes that "Abigail" is his sister but they aren't actually related. "Abigail" is an orphan that Tommy III picked up in Ireland, she isn't related to anyone by blood or marriage to anyone in town, but she has information needed to open the time capsule which will make people think she is related.

Aaron and Felicity are simply who they are, pawns.

Mark's mother and father are dead and Clyde had nothing to do with it, but Clyde loves toying with peoples lives.

The Greenes' dad is gone, either dead or abandoned the family. Their mom had a breakdown, is probably in Bayview or recently discharged from there. The father will probably return at some point, having been in a hospital with amnesia, of course, that is standard Days excuse, and turn out to be one of Victor's sons.......then again could be Stefano's.......both men liked to vary bedmates, and were not fond of birth control measures.

Perhaps, Old Man Greene came from Poplar Bluff and knew the Weston family. Years later, Clyde approached Dr. Greene about a way to pay off all the debt he incurred getting his medical education. Lacking common sense like most Salemites, he signed on without thinking things through. Now he and his sister are stuck in the Fake Abigail plot with no easy way out.

what random character or family
I usually say Susan Hunter Martin, but since I learned she married her rapist when she left town, I no longer pick her.

So I'll pick the Scofields, the Johnson stepsiblings. Molly and Tanner are the parents of Mark and Aaron, and Ginger and Brian are the parents of "Abigail" and Felicity. They were all raised by Brian and Ginger after Tanner became a vampire (the actor who played Tanner played a vampire on Port Charles) and Molly ran off to Savannah after losing her memory. This is why they're so inconsistent on what happened to their parents. Tragically, Brian died due to the incompetence of Police Commissioner Gina von Amberg (really Hope Brady) during the time jump, and Ginger became catatonic but still barbecues.

It's funny you mention Gina von Amberg. I was going to say that Mark, "Abigail", Aaron and Felicity are Greta's kids, making them Gina's grandkids.

Or maybe Gabrielle Pascal (Eve's mother) is their mother, so they'd all be Eve's half-siblings.

Ok I've reasoned out why it could be what I posted on the Friday show about it being Gwen. The only problems with my theory is fake Abby would know more about real Abby if it were Gwen and it would be insulting to the original actress. Oh well, here goes.

Gwen's mother didn't really die. She left for whatever made up reason works, married and had the next three kids. While Gwen has been gone she learned about this and connected with the kids and Mom. Clyde gets wind of this and realizes he could use Gwen to get to do what's happening now. He kidnaps mom and the blackmail begins.

Clyde could possibly be the father of the other kids or who knows what the connection is but that won't need to make sense. Also this lines up with the DNA "she's a daughter of Jack" and Jennifer knowing she wasn't her daughter. If it turns out Jack has yet another kid rolling around I'm out.

I also still like the idea of undead Jordan. She easily could have been Rolfed and found out she has these other siblings and hijinks have ensued.

Whoever it is I still think it's someone whose name we'd recognize right away since they avoid it like the plague.

As is normal for me, I can't remember if we know for sure that Mark fixed the test or if we've just been assuming he did. I think the "she's Jack's daughter" or however they said it means something. It could totally be yet another daughter but I can't think of why they'd be hiding her name from us then. And if it were any random person the people of Salem wouldn't know then why the plastic surgery?

I'm probably giving them too much credit here by thinking not naming her is a big deal.

trying to think of Salem children who no one has seen in a long time, like Sydney. But am thinking that Days loves to say........so and so never died...........or so and so's baby didn't die after birth, or Dr. Rolf saved the fetus so & so lost, so that child lived and is grown now. .........Days loves to go science fiction, so who can tell. Nicole has had a few miscarriages, right? Anyone else????

I thought Dr. Greene tampered with the DNA test to fake that she was Jack's daughter?
He did tamper with the DNA test to make it appear to be a positive match. He said it when he and "Abby" met in the little park that one day.

In that one posted article, it referred to an interview Billy Flynn (Chad) did in which he said the story done by the fill-in writers, she was going to be Abby, which is why the DNA test matched. Then Re-Ron came back and tweaked the storyline, which is how she became Mark's sister and he rigged the DNA test.

Boo! I am wondering if she isn't a sister at all. Like he's using Sis as a little sarcastic since she had to correct herself to say "our mother." Maybe Mark's girlfriend.
