I checked with "Days" today and got confirmation that both Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) and Madelyn Kientz (Sophia) are now on contract, which was expected from their placement in the credits the last few weeks. Kientz went on contract as of the October 2 episode, while Seaforth Hayes went on contract with the October 4 episode. This is the first time Seaforth Hayes has been on contract since January 1993.

Oh, wow, am so happy for Susan, and so glad we will be seeing more of Julie. Love the actress, & she has been a part of days for so many years. Bless her heart. Thank you, Jason.

Good news about Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie). Any appearance by this veteran professional she makes is always worth watching. In contrast, Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) is always annoying, but the way Holly is acting lately, she deserves to have a brat girl around to cause her a little trouble.

Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie): Three times on contract, once every three decades!

Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) has joined the contract cast of "Days of Our Lives" three times in her career, and all have taken place three decades apart (1960's, 1990's, 2020's)! Susan was first upped to contract status on April 15, 1969 (Episode # 866). She returned to "Days" on contract on January 8, 1990 (Episode # 6166). Last week, Susan joined the contract cast for a third time on October 4, 2024 (Episode # 14959).

Madelyn Kientz (Sophia) is a good actress and is more spirited than boring, flat Holly. Maybe this will be a good thing. Tate is so innocent. With Holly away (and did they break up), will Tate play?
